i had my first crash yesterday over the chase. hit the last roller section sideways and ended up eating dirt! lol

Cleared the transition on the last roller and snapped my chain! I love cannock chase!

just got back done follow the dog before but no one told me the new monkey trail is aother 7miles and even worse hills to do up and well it was a killer

nice vid. i only live in lich , im there soon.. gettin me arse up there to try my new bike out, also have a electric off road recumbent cycle. only a handful of htem in uk and mine is quick too. next project is a mountain bike with assist for cruzing if the kit ever arrives!

Did this this morning - Massive fun and a good work-out. Did the 'Hard' course through a sense of bravado but didn't find anything too technical. Thought my old Saracen was going to fall apart on the long rocky woodland downhills!

I mainly do dirt jumpin but I love xc at cannon just for the fact the trails flow so well it feels like you can coast forever, ace!

That was actually on a demo bike - Orange 5 from the shop at the trail head (Swinnerton Cycles I think). I was so impressed, I bought one a few months later!!

Nice video, my favourite trail. It'll do me until it stops raining! I bought a new bike 3 weeks ago and it's rained just about every day since!

I'm planning to get a helmet cam myself. I'm going to experiment with having the camera under the nose of the saddle. I've seen stuff shot like that and it's very stable and you get a better impression of speed. Wideangle lenses do slow the action down a bit though.
