In the process of watching every monk ever. I might as well because T.V is crap. If you want go to Netflix (Not advertising) and they have all the episodes on instant watch and you can stream straight to your itouch, iphone, ipad, Wii, and Computer. This saved my after school relaxation time.

What is that glissando type of "growling" or distortion sound on 0:19?????? NOBODY can ID it for me! Is it a trombone growling, some weird kinda distortion guitar, a gong(with pitch bend)???? WTF???? That same sound occurs in Fleetwood Mac's "Tell me Lies" before every chorus. Very distinct sound but none the less UNidentifiable:-(

@kalletjie I checked out the video for Little Lies from Fleetwood Mac (and I saw your question there too). In the Fleetwood Mac song, I'm guessing it's something like a pick scrape on the bass. In this one, it could be a contrabass. I hear it again around 0:50 but I hear two pitches. It would sound muddy if it was a bass guitar. Though there is bass guitar in this song.
