I flew as passenger Syd/ LAX on the A380, was comfortable, tho I was in cattle class,, still like a little more leg room since Im tall, very quiet and smooth since there are usually lotta turbulance over the Pacific, it didnt bounce around like the 747's,, cool watching as it lands when ya onboard,, thanks to whoever designed the camera in the tail
Where i Live we dont get Large Jetliners comming in to Port Columbus Airport (Columbus Ohio) most Jets are Airbus A319/A320's Boeing 737's (-300,-400,-500,-700,-800's) MD-80's and Candair regional jets The Airport is too small to alow Big Jets to come in.
That plane is ENORMOUS!!! Awesome video! An Airbus A380 landed here in JFK in NY also. It was mad awesome. It was the biggest plane I've ever seen in my life. The footage was cool. I think the cars slowed down a bit to see the plane pass by. Awesome sight.
Fantastic filming job! I'm an engineer for Airbus in the UK where we design and manufacture the wings, landing gear systems and fuel systems. So glad you guys like it - we've worked very hard for the last 10 years to get her up in the air. I love the US and I hope you enjoy our aircraft.
Thank you aerobobby. Congratulations on all your successful efforts with the A380 and I'm thrilled to have been able to capture her first landing here in Los Angeles.
One single impression by your own stoppes all negative criticism against the A-380. This is definitively a new era of aviation. And I want to travel with this Airbus - right now!
God is good. GOOD GOD. VERY GOOD GOD!

waste of a plane. The luxury suites take up a shitload of room and cost like 9000$. Who the hell can afford that. I am not a goddamn oil tycoon!

i was watching this randomly....and i read the description info....
this happened exactly a year ago.
...and it feels like yesterday...how does time leak so fast?
angelsview9 2 years ago
Actually angelsview9, it was exactly two years ago, and I ask myself that same question all the time. :)
wildbell 2 years ago
wait...you're right. it was 2 years ago........
in that case ... my question is multiplied times 50. how did time go so fast?
it doesn't feel as if it was 2 years ago......
i know i saw the plane from my house before going to work that one cloudy morning...but....
i swear i thought it had only been one year.
just like that a380....time is just as massive & ... it can go pretty quickly too. =/

this is the biggest airplane in the history of airplanes!
mumisanmartin 4 years ago
nope, it is not. the antonov an-225 is larger and heavier but since it is a cargo plane, the a380 takes the title as biggest passenger aircraft ever

Wow, what a whale. A plane like that better have every pilot proof safety device known to man on it and probably does.
