Oh. My. Goodness, thats exactly where I am too. i've worked my butt off my entire life for this and I go to a Pony Club Testing and get told I'm just not good enough. Even though I've worked 3x as hard as anyone else there.

i know how you feel today i got back from a show (from camp) & the first day i got on this horse i fell off then something clicked and friday was great with her we were jumping jumps i though i wouldn't jump /her, then the show today the 2nd last jump she ducked and then clicked and i fell on her neck and came in last in the show, i though i was better then that and i started to cry right in front of everyone because all week i worked so hard and what.. to lose.. but i see where ur coming from

description = my life. i can relate so, so much. i respect you so much for taking on a young horse, and all the hard work you have put forth. in the end, you will come out a winner, regardless of the ribbons. the kids who are 'talented' almost always have $100k+ horses bought for them... they will never learn to work hard for it. you can take these lessons out of the horse world and will be a better person than most because of that. <3
