It did exist! I've found proof! My parents watched this when I was just a tot. I kind of remember this opening and Adam and Eve, but I have a much clearer recollection of Jerome.
WOW, for years I`ve been trying to remember the name of this show, asking people if they ever seen it. I remember the wind up walking up a sexy chicks leg, then falling to the floor with a huge grin. It was great seeing this at prime time.
I've been hoping to find something on this somewhere. I remember seeing only two episodes of this on tv around 1981 or 82. I remember I was around 8 and I loved the style of this show. Kinda like Mad magazine. I never knew it was Hanna-Barberra until now. Thanks for posting this.
I've an episode years ago. Most of the cartoon shorts were based on classic jokes like ''the crunch bird'' A woman buys a crunch bird that eats anything on command until the angry husband yells, ''CRUNCH BIRD, MY BUTT'' The sickest one was the wind-up toy that walked up a woman's dress, when she sat down she left the toy crushed with a big smile on it's face.
The Jokebook was an adult aimed Hanna-Barbera cartoon aired on NBC Spring 1982, 7 1/2 hour episodes were produced but only 3 aired before it was canned by NBC for low ratings.
And KPRC in Houston didn't give that series a chance. Instead, we got reruns of The Muppet Show in it's place.
The only other instance in which a prime time series was not carried would go to KMOL (now WOAI in San Antonio) refusing Hello Larry & replacing it with Happy Days Again reruns.

Hanna-Barbera produced almost every cartoon in existance?
I remember a character named Jerome a baby whom was in potty training- climbed up a giant tiolet (size of a mountain) then was accidently FLUSHED!

Henry "Fred Flintstone voice #2" Corden did a lot of voice work in this short lived cartoon series.

The fat husband in the wife-beater looks a lot like Harry from Wait Till Your Father Gets Home...
TServo2049 3 years ago
that's because both shows were designed by long time hanna-barbera and playboy cartoonist marty murphy.

I can't believe that Channel 4 (KMOL/WOAI) would do that to 'Hello Larry.'
IIRC, a couple of years ago, WSAV in Savannah, GA wouldn't air a contraversial(sp) show but I forgot the show's title.
