IMO it will have the same effect on any bike, but more pronounced on bikes with a shorter wheelbase because the naturally tend to turn in / lean in faster especially the nakeds with the high handlebars.
I had the same problem riding Bridgestone 002 race tires on the street. The triangular profile makes them fall in fast at street pace and lean angles and you often have to counter-counter steer to keep the bike from leaning over too much. It was a handful in the mountains of North GA. I switched to some BT-090 takeoffs and it handles much better on the road due to the round profile. For the track however the triangular profile gives much better turn in at high speed and I would switch back.
Please, please, please, do not listen to this idiot! I have never heard such a load of crap in my life. Pirelli Diablo Corsas only work on V-twins? Try asking the thousands of Europeans who have used them on everything from 600 Bandits to R1s, and wouldn't change them for anything else. Try a little research on the web - or are those professionals also bribed by Pirelli?! And by the way - plenty of Daytona 600/650s were raced, including Triumph's first TT win for 27 years in 2003.
I won't use anything but diablo corsa 3s on my daytona 675 best rubber goin imo, lol at this guy
