i dint really know the size of the paper u used so i just used printer paper and cut it 10 x 10 cm till i had eight squares the finished product looks amazing and it dose not feel flimsy. I'm assuming that most people don't tighten the curls enough so the middle part fails to keep the rest together.

my flower doesn't want to stay together so now it is very delicate, it doesn't look as good as yours but it still looks cool. I'm thinking it doesn't want to stay together because the paper I used is too small (5x5cm) and because it is small, it was insanely annoying to curl it
