  • You are SO correct! David Addison, Bruce Willis was the bomb and just like you said, yeah!

  • very impressionable scene for a wide eyed tyke like me back then. isley brothers, this song, and this celluloid moment really go hand-in-hand

  • well her acting has improved over the years and her looks lol

  • The little dip at 2:05 got me in 86 still gets me today.

  • how could anyone (female's pls. smilesss) resist kissing Bruce/David...yummy.. takes my breathe away...

  • One of my favorite scenes in Moonlighting. Thanks for uploading!

  • havent seen this , my favourite episode, since it was broadcast in the U.K. way back in ihe mid eighties ,superb!

  • So cool - I remember this so well

  • Iconic song, great acting fab series one of the abiding memories if moonlighting!!!!!1

  • c'mere... you smell like a fireplace full of tar! mmmm!

  • Wow. I'd forgotten about this. Too bad that biopic of Louise Brooks that Dana wanted to star in never came about. She was perfect for it. This whole scene could've been an audition for it!

Crafty story, this one. Good writing.

  • Every second of this clip, leading up to and during the kiss and embrace, is so unbelievably romantic it gives me butterflies, and females from 12 to 120 know exactly what I mean.

  • This old heart of mine...is the main role in this scene to me

  • the car is every bit the star of the scene, speaking of which, what balls on addison taking maddie's car to chase some tail.

  • Dana Delaney's guest shot here on "Moonlighting" was every bit as stunning as Bruce Willis' guest performance on "MIami Vice" a few years earlier. You just knew a major star was being born before your very eyes. I always felt there were at least a dozen other actresses who could have played the role of Maddie as well as Cybill Shepherd, but Bruce Willis was irreplaceable as David Addison.

  • @andyinoregon spot on mate

  • @partyhat3 Thanks for the comment, and thanks to your city of Manchester for producing so many great rock 'n' roll bands.

  • I agree with canuck21...my fav scene!!!:)

  • O.k. from 1:30 to 2:20 this is all about David Addison/Bruce Willis. This man had it going on in the 80's.

Look at how he looks at her. He's a natural. He coulda had anything he wanted from me. Then we he grabs her hand and caresses it with his thumb. I just about died. But wait, theres more...he looks at her and says C.mere! That was it. I was done. I'll never get over this scene.

Bruce Willis is an excellent actor.

  • this is so intimate this scene. i get goosebumps

  • God, I remember this episode! Dana Delany in that white shirt and the Isley Brothers in the background...burned into my brain!! Discovered so much good music through this show.

  • This was a fantastic episode! My heart broke for David. Who wrote this? Is the writer still around?

  • Dana es una de las mejores actrices que he visto en mi vida. Es increible la forma en la que ella transmite lo que actua!!

  • I haven't see this scene in over twenty years! Very intense kiss on Dana's part anyway. The way I remembered it she was wearing a beret. What an absolute honey she is. Glad to see she is finally getting some real recognition with Desperate Housewives. Thanks for this. Made me buy first two series.

  • The scene with Dana kissing with a beret was with Tom Selleck on Magnum PI.

  • Dana is great in this video. No actress shows emotion better than Dana.

  • I have dreamed of that David Addison for more than 20 years... his love of music, his cocky smile and quit wit...everytime I hear this song by the Isley bros, it brings back that wonderful kiss that all girls and women have dramed about all their lives. I just got mine and I am fifty!!!!! OH Dave Addison,if you were only real...

  • David Addison is a dream. I would love to have a man like him. Too bad he's not real.

  • I love the way she gets weak in the knees at around 2:06

  • For the first couple of years, this was one of the best shows in history.

  • hehehe.. dana delany may be the only woman who can wear shoulder pads and still look good.

  • This is great. That Bruce Willis was something. Something! I never knew. Dana is great. Cybill who?? Thanks so much.

  • I'm sorry, but Cybill is prettier than Dana IMO and Cybill and Bruce has the best on screen chemistry ever.

  • cant believe its been 20 years. classic, always wish my gillian walked back into my life....well and didnt commit murder but u get he picture

  • Awesome! Thanks a lot! Dana is very beautiful! If you also could upload the part where she (Gillian) steps into Maddie's office as well as the part where David seeks her up at her hotel including the balcony scene.

That would be very nice, thanks!

  • My favourite Moonlighting Episode - thanx!

  • i love it !

  • Thanks for the trip down memory lane. This song always reminds me of this episode.

  • Me too!

  • I saw this scene 20 years ago and Isley Brothers "This old heart of mine" always reminds me of this scene. And now I'm seeing it again. When I saw this scene the song, Dana and "David" were the best.

There are a lot of scenes in this show and others shows like this that will be for ever in our head, soul, and heart: Magnum P.I., The wonder years, Northern Exposure, Cheers, Miami Vice

  • @lopezciruelo spot on

  • @lopezciruelo Thats weird me too when ever i hear it cheers

  • @lopezciruelo

My sentiments exactly. I've loved this song ever since I saw this scene. I generally never cared for Willis' acting but this scene is just HOT! He and Delaney totally rock this song and scene. I still can't get it out of my head 20-plus years later. One of my all time favorite scenes.

  • Thanks for posting this. I was 13 when I first saw this. Talk about an awakening. I miss Bruce being romantic on screen.

  • Esta escena esta grabada en mi memoria por la cancion, no puedo creer que la haya encontrado..

  • Lo mismo me pasó a mí y por lo que veo, igual que unos cuantos...

  • That song always remind me of this scene. I luv it. "This old heart of mine, 've been broken thousand times...". This scene should be used as footage for a video of the song.

  • that's Dana Delaney not Gillian Anderson.

  • Yes it's Dana Delany but her character's name on Moonlighting was Gillian Armstrong.

  • @o0Moonlighting0o That's Bruce Willis NOT David Addison! - sorry couldnt help myself! :oP GREAT clip *sigh*

  • @o0Moonlighting0o , Thanks for this video-clip......Dana Delany is as good- (or better) -looking and more talented than Gillian Anderson, in MY opinion anyway..... ! Dana D.`s one of my favorite-actreeses, along with french-swiss Irene Jacob....-why not check up on HER too... ?

  • Holy shit! That chick is Dana Delaney! I didn't know that she guest appeared on Moonlighting?

  • i love this scene

  • mmm 80's Great Music and some great TV serieses but not China Beach rather give me North & South, Tour of Duty, Twin Peaks (1991) etc.

  • Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of this scene.

  • me too! great scene...thanks for putting it on!
