  • @papercuts777 BTW, have you tried a canniloni? For the sauce, gnd beef with onions, celery, mushrooms. Take a couple tomats and score them(x's on each end, boil quick and then peel skin off and take out core) or just use crush tomatos or whatever. Bit of brown sugar, paprika, garlic. Stuff em in those canniloni tubes oven ready ones are easier and then a bit of tomato paste on the bottom of the dish, then on the top, bit of italian blend pre shredded cheese or parm and mozza and some oregano.

    It's a traditional italian dish and very, VERY good! It's not for the cheapies though...

    If you folks are on a budget, get Beef shanks instead of veal...

    NO, it will not be as good as veal..

    and...YES, make this one when you're sober...

    White rice or the pasta as a side dish would do it for me..

  • my roommate just got 2 slow cookers for her catering job so i put in two french cut veal chops with wine wine, diced tomatoes, chicken stock, red wine vinegar, mushrooms, carrots, celery, onions and some other things. it was really rich and amazing.

    I haven't done veal for ages, mainly because it's like gold, but you tempt me. I think we need to JUST DO IT once in a while. But without the trip to the pub for those 3 hours. LOL

    I did a whole veal roast, many moons ago with some friends over, and by the time it was done we were so wasted on shrooms we couldn't eat. We just stood in the kitchen and looked at it and laughed.

  • Ha! That was 1 vid split into 2. I didn't know WTF to do with them, plus I had a vid of the sauce being opened. Took 5 days to edit this shit.

    Ya, the risotto simply has rice for 4 and lobster for 2. It was made with beef stock instead of chicken and by the time I plated it, the beer on my brain made it too difficult to make the risotto creamy, like it was again. Fk it! hah
