Hey, thanks for the vid, i successfully did the splash on g1, but i also have a mytouch...and the process does not work. it does not let me write the image...or flash it. it says "not allowed"...do you know what should be different for the mytouch??

Hmm I wanted to cover that on my video but I decided not to. Because it would probably cause confusion. Because the first boot screen is like 3 seconds long and then it goes away and comes the 2nd boot scree. Then HTC or Android water boot screen. BUT if u want it on the 2nd one it's like so

notices the 1 and then the 2 so if u want to just type
is the G1 good? , i was thinking of geting one maybe, they have them on ebay , brand new for 70-80 bucks and... i have att but i heard its compatable because Tmobile and that Sim card , but if not then ill just get a blackberry

@BuddhaTeh1337 I believe it was Hero. Problem with that rom is blue tooth doesn't work and if you open the keyboard it freezes all the time.

@betonvale Did you instal the drivers for the G1? you have to make sure that you do that first.

G1 is great. Since you can upgrade the rom. It would be like having a Droid Eris.
Just it's bigger and a keyboard.
