HI Dr. What do you think of Argan Oil? I heard that it's good for acne prone skin as well...will it clog my pores? Also, I have a lot of little bumps on my fore head, no white head or anything, not sure if they are acne because they don't hurt but no matter what i do they don't go away, any advice please?
I have a spray on toner (Clean Start - All Over Clear). I don't have to use any cotton pads as it just says to spray directly onto the face. Will this still be effective? Thank you :)
Do we have to use separate cotton pads for our forehead, cheek and chin when using the toner? Because I hear that if you don't, bacterias can transfer such as ance you have in your forehead to your chin or etc...?
@lilqtxanq3l Yes you should use another cotton pad if necessary. If you have an abundance of debris, oil, or make-up on those pads, then you should dispose of them and use a fresh one. You'd only be spreading the bacteria on a different spot on your face.
what do u think of micelle lotion as an cleanser ? because I firstly wash my face with cetaphil and then use bioderma sebium micellare solution as opposed to toner.
@nikimeow There are many available acne skin solutions in the market today that readily target specific cases like body acne. Therefore, to better address various skin problems regarding acne, the solution still rests on choosing the right and best acne solution that fits your type of skin. learn more about curing acne here "bestwaystogetridofacne"
@hunnibear223 Yes. Always use a cleanser and toner prior to treating your skin with active ingredients as it prepares the skin. Sunscreen is an active ingredient.
I dont really have acne problems that much ANYMORE, but I do have HORRIBLE acne scars =( Which is why I started using clinique. I have about 6 steps everyday to do and the red dots on my skin should be gone in a few wks they say, Do u think they will? Or should I do something different? Also, my toner smells like alcohol and says it on the ingredients, is it ok to continue to use??
@lovellyjuliechavez: Cleanser and toner do nothing to help red spots or scars. Scars (depressions or raised bumps) are usually not helped by topical products. Red spots from prior blemishes will fade by themselves and improvement can be helped with cosmetic lasers, but topical products do not hasten their improvement.

But there is never color on my cotton pad with the toner. And I've been doing this for years already and I still have acne. I went to a dermatologist and she gave me products but I still have acne. Most of it is blackheads, but it's still annoying.
@Nienkx: (PART I) @Nienkx: Despite the fact that there is no color on your cotton pad with the toner, it doesnt mean that the toner is not helping. However, the fact that you still have acne means that whatever products the dermatologist gave you are not adequately suited for your type of acne. Some categories of acne products are discussed in DermTV episode 124, Acne Treatment in Three Easy Steps. (CONTINUED...)
(PART II) If that is not helpful, then you should return to the dermatologist who gave you the products that didnt work or else get an opinion from a second person but there is no reason to have to tolerate acne breakouts when such effective products to treat it are available.
wow brilliant advice! so do you not wash off the toner? you just apply it and then pat dry but dont wash it off?
