considering true what's written in your profile under the age tab..so..41 years... minus 7 is 34 years..you were 34 years old when you started...I'm 25 :P and I started 3 years ago XD
haha, yeah sure, theoretical it works, but you need REALY high resolution to see something. if you do this with an array that have thousand of lenses - i work mostly with 4 mm lenses for example, that means that the monitor must have a resolution of something like 4K at least to see some depth... but i´m pretty sure, this will the next or the step after next in 3d monitoring, especially when the hardware will be strong enough to do this in realtime.
thats right...i was 34 when i started this...found some stuff in the net about lenticulartechniques and was hooked...people said i´m an artist and i came originally from painting...
thanx a lot man, really, so good for my ego, cause the first five years it was hard to to do research and to make this stuff in the lack of money, means only a couple of friends where there to encourage me and kick my ass to continue this...
i´m allready there...i work now in my seventh year on that stuff and had several exhibitions with portraits...

You made an awesome job :)
I really like it :)
I'm not here for the fame or the possible money..I'm just "playing" around as many others :D
Next thing I would like to build on my own is a volumetric display :P

What the point of this kind of imaging?

Considering the monitor on a plate,360 degrees of freedom around the object presented :)
