  • i fucking hate these things...

  • What happens when you drink that?

  • @Alexiandro0 lol! good question

  • where can i get one of those :D

  • @XxEVORxX if you can't find one in your mop, i can easily mail one of my spare earwigs to you.

  • @Piranhaboy01 I found mine under a rock, lol.

  • @Piranhaboy01 Where could I get a pitcher plant or a regular venus fly trap?

  • good riddance i'd say

  • @Piranhaboy01 If you must know why I have to throw it out is because there was a HUGE windstorm (The plant was torn to shreds.) and alot of acid landed in a nearby tin bucket thing.

  • im not trying to ask any stupid questions but what would happen if you stuck your hand in there

  • What happens should someone drain a pitcher plant? Will it secrete more acid or will it wither?

  • Good, I hate earwigs.

  • What was the white stuff it stuck to?

  • I got a bunch of acid from when had to throw my pitcher plant out is there anything I can do with it? Is it flammable?

  • @MrBellossom not acid its enzymes

    not flammable at all

why would you throw away the plant?

  • @MrBellossom why u even asking if its flammable== u wanna burn it? lol

  • hey piranha boy

i havent talked to you for a while but my pitcher plant which used to be too small is almost to the top of my tank. What hsould id o?

  • @PhazonSwimmy what kind of pitcher plant?

  • @Piranhaboy01 ventricosa

  • @PhazonSwimmy it's beginning to want to climb. i recommend you cut the vines off near the plant and repot them as it will get out of hand if you let a Nep climb on its own and the biggest pitchers are normally found near ground level. did it pitcher yet?... if not, it's probably in too warm conditions

  • @Piranhaboy01 thep itchers are iffy, they are pretty big, like 5 inches or more, but they die really fast well only the top part of the pitchers

  • @PhazonSwimmy is there any reason you are growing it in a tank? it would probably do better outside the tank in a bright location that cools a little at night. It doesn't have to be a big drop in temp. message me with information regarding your location... trying to get an idea where you should grow it.

  • @Piranhaboy01 i live in san jose california at the united states, it gets pretty cold (like heavy frost but no snow, the rain is pretty heavy along with heavy rains occasionally, and the summers are extremely hot (above 90 to 100) we have a low humidity also

any suggestions how to grow it?

  • @PhazonSwimmy i would be growing it outside all summer in the shade in a large pot flooded with fresh water and bring it inside just before and after dangers of frost. These plants are tougher than most people think. I bet it would do much better for you.

  • @Piranhaboy01 should i start growing them outside now in the winter?

  • @PhazonSwimmy if it's dropping towards freezing, keep it inside. I'd grow it outside when it warms up above ~10 C at night. They can tolerate colder than that but not worth the chance. Get yourself a bright compact 40watt fluorescent lamp and take the plant out of the tank. I'd grow it in a room that cools a bit at night.

  • @PhazonSwimmy if you have a plant with to fangs hanging from the lid, it's nepenthes bicalcarata and that plant is a very strong climber .

  • Yes, they are very dangerous to humans! They crawl up inside your ear and make little tiny wigs for them to wear from you earhair!

Just joking. They do no harm at all.

  • Are earwigs dangerous to humans?

  • @chrischrisdtsafg i think so....they crawl in your ear to your brain i think...

  • @matthewtbrawl That's an urban legend. If a bug crawls into your ear it cannot get to your brain because of the eardrum.

  • @lazlo380 oh..but dont they have pincers? can't they at least deffen you in one ear?

  • @matthewtbrawl The eardrum is 0.00435 inches thick. Even if this particular bug was to get into your ear it would probably get caught in earwax before it even made it to the drum wall.

  • @lazlo380 ahh ok but what if there was no earwax in that perticular moment in time?

  • @matthewtbrawl Like I said before the eardrum is thick. No insects pincers or mandibles would be sharp enough to cut through the wall. Got it now?

  • @lazlo380 hmmmm ok then
