Hi, your videos are really interesting and nice to watch! Learning to play the (modern) oboe myself I keep hoping that I might one day have the chance to try a baroque oboe as well. Could you let us know which maker originally built that instrument and who made your replica of it?
@imsohasome actually the oboe builders in 1700 build recorders and baroque clarinets (chalumeaus) as well. For example Stanesby, Denner and Hotteterre.

@AmericasNextTopOboe Yes, that's why many recorder-players also used to play it... the fingering is quite similar.

Very useful little mini documentary - I love this guy's approach and playing - the speed he plays, the stresses and overall character are so musical
