Wow, I was not sure what to expect from this, but it was absolutely incredible. The most surprising thing to me is how expressive this is. Rachel plays this more expressively than some adults do! The melody was always very clear to me, also.

But when I watched your videos, most of them you are striking on the keys only, with some dynamics and producing individual notes. You need to link the note together. I wonder if your piano teacher has told you this. If you manage you increase the speed a little more, you ll reach another level. You need to build a better relationship between each of your fingers~ Hope I can see better performance of you in the future.

Rachel this is very good for a first attempt, taking into consideration your age. Like the Chopin Ballade in G minor, this too can become phenomenal, once you put it away and tak it up again.

Keep up the wonderful repertoire building , it is going to pay off greatly in terms of security, when you become full-fledged concert artist.

My music lecturer told me that this piece is often regarded as one of the most difficult piano pieces ever. He also said that he was the play it, he would need to go to the gym to work out for like 3 months to get his muscles ready to tackle this piece. That's how hard it is, even for a Dr. in music.
