It would be great to have this story with captions for those that our spoken english understanding is not so good. The title of the book is very very interesting. I have a psychological disability... fear and insecurity feelings about making decisions and taking risks. So I will investigate more about this book and its contents, in order to purchase the kindle version. Regards from Mexico.
Discovered the trailer on Joe Jacobi's page. Very grateful his post led me here and to you for sharing such an intimate experience. The video trailer is a wonderful slice of powerful digital storytelling and very inspiring. I'm eager to read, digest, distill and embrace "Uncertainity." I believe this is all timely, purposeful and as Squire Bushell coined - a "Godwink."
Jonathan, I was blessed when I found you, only months ago. I was blessed again when you took the time to "see" me. Now, I'm brimming. Tears are running down my face and I thank God as well, for bringing you into my life. Into the lives of the ones I hold most dear.~Amber-Lee
Unreal Jonathan! My hairs are standing straight up right now and I'm unbelievably fired up to take on what really matters. Seriously you nailed it! The world needs this.
The book is even more timely. After all the debt ceiling/economy stuff beating people with bad news people need and hunger for some thing that is deeper and more life affirming.
You don't have to be a business owner to benefit from the ideas here; you just have to be open to not always taking the easy or safe way to a situation's conclusion.
Jonathan, your heart and spirit move me so. Thank you for serving the deep, necessary conversations that transform our culture, in all the ways that you do.
Uncertainty -- the truth of impermanence -- can be the heart of the fire that warms and nourishes, when it impels us to act now.
Powerful persepctive. Feeling honored that you have shared the origin story of the book. The phrasing "leaning in" will stick with me the rest of my life.
This really resonates Jonathan - taking notice of that little voice, having your perspective changed after a tragedy and just going for something whilst acknowledging that fear.
