@Hifcrea I heard you're not supposed to open your mouth during free fall at those speed...apparently air rushes in and can burst your lungs..but i'm not 100% sure but I have heard something like that...after opening it's all good..but during the free fall you gotta watch how you breathe...good luck in seal camp!

@44CONMANJ sorry it took so long to reply i have not been on in a while. its about a SEAL team that has shane patton. they were supposed to recon this village and villagers stumbled across them and the enemy. they were pinned and mr. shane and a bunch of others jump on a chopper to save them and they get shot down by an RPG. but its hard to describe. you just gotta read it
Nope you sure dont, if you were going to join any military force I'd say go to Navy SEALS but they are probably too tough for you to make if youre thinking about ARMY. Try to go Marines before ARMY then because they are atleast a little bit tougher
Do you realize what you are saying? You are comparing SEALS, a small special operational division of the Navy, to an entire military branch, Army. How do you know he or she wants to be in the special forces? I hate it when people rag on military branches. The marines might be a devoted warrior force, however the Army has special ops just the like the Navy does, such as DELTA FORCE and US SF. Try and tell those men they aren't tough.
It's bad that you feel that way. What warrants you the right to talk down to the operatives that lay their lives on the line everyday to keep insurgents in check? Their sacrifices we will never know about yet they still make them. This includes months or years away from home, in hostile territory. Not easy in my opinion. I don't think the SEALs would appreciate your attitude either.

@nombomb77 i live in California so during this time of the year is the best to swim in the ocean when the water is very cold (with stiff fins) so that i get used to the cold water. ive always been a very good swimmer but a slow runner so the main thing i do is lots of cardio so i can just out hustle people rather than be just plain faster then them which im not... i go to the gym about 4 times a week and i also do muay thai and jui jitsu so thats also where most of my work out comes from
yeah im about the oppisite..running and cardio are not a problem for me and swimming isnt a problem either..i live in california also but about an hour from the ocean..i dont take jui jitsu or muay thai classes im just tryin to get as strong as i can and stay flexible
I worked out 6 days a week 2 or so hours a day. weight training and cardio. Im going into the navy as an Officer after i recieve my bachelors. But I still plan to go into BUD/S. Remember its 60/40 60 mental 40 phys. The mental is what will get you there.

Shane and a few other S.E.A.Ls got killed on a little bird from an RPG-7 I was apart of the Deltaf force and S.E.A.Ls team 2ND squad to go behind lines and try to find the survivers but we were to late only one was left.

Sure you were, he was one of seven Seal's and eight Night Stalkers who where killed when their MH-47 Chinook crashed in the mountains of Kunar. Heli was hit by a RPG that went through the open rear ramp and explode inside.

@44CONMANJ sorry it took so long to reply i have not been on in a while. its about a SEAL team that has shane patton. they were supposed to recon this village and villagers stumbled across them and the enemy. they were pinned and mr. shane and a bunch of others jump on a chopper to save them and they get shot down by an RPG. but its hard to describe. you just gotta read it

Nope you sure dont, if you were going to join any military force I'd say go to Navy SEALS but they are probably too tough for you to make if youre thinking about ARMY. Try to go Marines before ARMY then because they are atleast a little bit tougher

Do you realize what you are saying? You are comparing SEALS, a small special operational division of the Navy, to an entire military branch, Army. How do you know he or she wants to be in the special forces? I hate it when people rag on military branches. The marines might be a devoted warrior force, however the Army has special ops just the like the Navy does, such as DELTA FORCE and US SF. Try and tell those men they aren't tough.

It's bad that you feel that way. What warrants you the right to talk down to the operatives that lay their lives on the line everyday to keep insurgents in check? Their sacrifices we will never know about yet they still make them. This includes months or years away from home, in hostile territory. Not easy in my opinion. I don't think the SEALs would appreciate your attitude either.

@M4ceman youre an idiot and by saying that shit makes you and that navy look bad, like everyone that is in or joining the navy is that stuck up or ignorant, you wont make it as a SEAL because by the way i am hearing you that you want to be a SEAL for all the wrong reasons (to sound and look "badass") those guys are the ones who dont even make it past endoc. im 17 and have been training to be a SEAL since i was 15 and i know damn well to respect all branches no matter what.

@nombomb77 i live in California so during this time of the year is the best to swim in the ocean when the water is very cold (with stiff fins) so that i get used to the cold water. ive always been a very good swimmer but a slow runner so the main thing i do is lots of cardio so i can just out hustle people rather than be just plain faster then them which im not... i go to the gym about 4 times a week and i also do muay thai and jui jitsu so thats also where most of my work out comes from

yeah im about the oppisite..running and cardio are not a problem for me and swimming isnt a problem either..i live in california also but about an hour from the ocean..i dont take jui jitsu or muay thai classes im just tryin to get as strong as i can and stay flexible

I worked out 6 days a week 2 or so hours a day. weight training and cardio. Im going into the navy as an Officer after i recieve my bachelors. But I still plan to go into BUD/S. Remember its 60/40 60 mental 40 phys. The mental is what will get you there.
