@salutations75 do you even listen to the song? how can is it vague? you obviously decided you wanted to stick with your idea before you even listened to the song.
what a blast from the past...i remember this..my voice was already gone halfway through the concert...and after i sang this one.i completely lost my voice.
While listening to this praise in church one day in September 2002, I wept while meditating on it...and the Lord spoke to me and told me I would have a son and his name would be ELIJAH...I was pregnant at the time but didnt know it. After having 3 daughters, April 2, 2003, I gave birth to my son..ELIJAH JOHN...praise Jesus!!!
ooh i love this song!!! our church doesn't beleive in instruments though. which is odd seein that were baptist. i love music like this though. its like a sermon by its self!!!
Obviously you've never listened to a good sermon. This is a bunch of vague statements put together which sound Biblical but are so open to interpretation that they could mean absolutely anything. Songs like this is why we have spiritually dead churches singing joyful songs - the theology here is non-existant, only people with a very vague understanding of scripture can think that singing this is worship. God is a God of TRUTH, this song's vague statements do not proclaim truth.
Open to interpretation?? It speaks of our Lords coming...how much more literal can a song of praise be? And spiritually dead churches dont occur from praises, its the people that make it be that way. All praises in the Lords name are God filled and worships, even if you dont like the particular verses.Indeed God is a God of truth...and He loves ALL praises from His people...you are very wrong in your views my dear.
Are you feeling ok? I'm just going to say it - you're absolutely and completely wrong. Get with the program! Jump in for the big win with the rest of us! This song declares the days of the final harvest and the Lord's return! Geesh! You don't find this song being sung at dead churches pal!
Praise God! This song is a favourite at our church cause it talks about something all Christian should be looking forward to... Marantatha! Our Lord, Come!
This was an awesome performance. There was a large group of people in my section bouncing in waving their arms. I could feel the floor moving under my feet.
Everytime I hear this song it reminds me of my Tia Mari who passed last August to brest cancer. She always said "God is Faithful" and he truly is! I love you Mari and I will see you again!!!!!!
