This was Stan Jackson as OSU's QB. This must have been his best game because from what I remember he could barely move the offense and had to be benched.

@hmldjr Your memory is faulty. Jackson had a great season and OSU was 11-0 in his starts. The ony loss for OSU that year was, of course unde Cooper, at Michigan. Jackson tweeked his ankle at Indiana the week before and Cooper imemdiately stated that Germaine would be starter vs. Michigan. This divided the OSU clubhouse and OSU was flat for UM and lost. In the Rose Bowl, Jackson actually moved the team for the first 10 points, but the offense fizzled and OSU went to Germaine, who was great.

2) Holtz's most talented team is either the 92' or 93' teams.

3) That OSU team was sick. I LOVE Notre Dame and I have to say I remember how frustrating that game was to watch. Not sure if it was the opening kickoff, or that Powlus option run down the sideline where he got caught from behind because he had cement blocks for feet, or the that Powlus had severe happy feet when in the pocket, or the fact that powlus sucked.
