People look at Buffett as some sort of mesiah that represents average Americans. The guy is in the same club as the ones he does business with who stole the people's money.
He defends Goldman Sachs so we know exactly who's side he is on. He needs financiers so hes not going to point the finger at the criminals. He needs them for his own self interests.
