We give our governments plenty of money, and we should expect and demand the services we've already paid for. If the government needs to build a new bridge or something, it has no business asking the taxpayer to fork over extra money.

It reminds me of a story I heard of someone on a Russian airline flight. After a prolonged and physically uncomfortable delay on the tarmac, the pilot came walking down the aisle with what he claimed was a broken aircraft component in his hand.

The drug commercials I see on the tube are astonishing.

If you have pain very rarely you don't need pills. My mom has to take pain medicine everyday because she has chronic back pain due to two back surgeries.
