@autopilotx1 it would eat rats in the wild, whats the difference, you dont have to watch. Think, if the snake were not to eat, the snake would slowly get weak and die over ther course of a year due to the lack of energy to drink its water, that is horibble. At least the rat dies in 30 seconds for a reason, it's keeping something else alive that is how the world works. Chickens and sheep make good pets but are killed for people. Hes not a dick, he's is keeping an amazing animal alive and happy.

you're not supposed to feed them around mulch or wood chips or any kind of substrate because the snake can't digest that. if he/she got any of that in their mouth it could seriously hurt them..
