  • Why the increase?? I have not idea what is charged per credit in ca. But Class rooms with a100 students charged 200 a credit and 5 credit per subject times room used 8 times a day. That is 100X200X5X8 = *$800,000 per semester. How many class rooms per building? Now about running classes 16 hrs a day if you need more money. Education should be offered at cost and not a money maker for the state.

  • "Negotiate with students ? We don't negotiate with students. Arrest them all " ....Ronald Reagan

  • Progressives impose price increases on progressives, and the progressives dont like it. So the progressives protest the progressives because of their progressive policies.

I just hope those progressives stay at their own school/state. You made your bed, now sleep in it.

  • The conservatives shit on other conservatives, and then they go to war, and then they blow the economy, and realize they are up to their teeth with shit.

  • That the university has to increase fees by 33% shows an utter lack of financial management. Shame on them. They should have seen this coming a long time ago.

As for the cry-baby students and faculty, get a friggin' life! Education is NOT a right. It is your privilege to be at that school. If you can't afford it, go enroll elsewhere and get a job.

God save us from the day we are required to pay for unappreciative, snot-nosed punks with an over developed sense of entitlement to go to college.

  • education is a right ok go get a job and they will educate you on how to work

  • there getting an education in american system

  • The strike does not hurt the University or the state government. It only hurts the students whose educations are being disrupted. Typical Marxist agitation which only destroys.

  • Where's your hope and change now, guys?

  • Ain't nothing free folks.

California is out of money now right?

  • I definitely agree with raising awareness but some people take it overboard by refusing to allow workers to go home.

    "You work for us!" Really?
