@eastpassion69 hi how are you i will make a video on how i locked my hair with a relaxer and answer any other questions you may have please inbox me or add any other questions you may have but i am sure this video i plain to cover many steps of my locking journey.
@anke lol i never cut my hair until it was fully locked then i cut a 1/4" to a 1/2" a month 4 years locked now and they are down my back i will make a update vid soon
@sweetsuga0209 hi how are you i started my locks at a shop on 125th street, the lady that did them i don't have her contact info right now but i well get it for you. how ever if you put you wash your hair then put them in braids or twist (your natural hair) and use dry hair shampoo instead of washing it about every 6 weeks and twist them in the same direction they will lock in about 6 to 9 months. when your hair locks at the root and then works its way down.
@bodyink1 what products did you use? i am currently 6 months post but i dont want to chop all of my hair off before i feel comfortable. what are these (white people products) that you used?
@stepspooh hi how are you? your is 6 month ago so your all most fully locked. i used jam at that time and still do it is really light on the hair they have different ones. but i use extra hold and always twist them the same way thats rule number one. i also use any kind of hair dressing by murray's 1st finger press it in to your hair then add a small amount of jam and twist your hair in the direction you started from the beginning. the hair dressing i use to moisture each lock. one by one
to all other comments i am sorry it has taken me so long to reply but their will be a video soon will any and all answers to any questions you may have so feel free to drop any questions?
hey firelocdown to your questions and concerns all of that is perfectly normally my hair did the same thing i just cut the tips little buy little the most a 1/2" after i washed them. your hair is not damage or anything like that it is just processed and with it in this state they just need more time to hold then a person with out a perm my hair was fully locked the same as any 7 months in.
i started locking my hair about two months ago with relaxed ends and its coming along nicely, but the tips are still very stringy with the unlocked relaxed hair. Your end are very neat and rounded, also some of the locks that have fully dreaded seem to have either twisted the relaxed hair into it or the hair has fallin off, which i dont mind but i want to know if you have experience anything like it...
honestly ive heard that to. but i figure if white people can get their hair loc'd (dreaded) then relaxed hair should be able to also. but im no professional but thats my take. Im sure ther are ways to do it just ask around lol
Can you please post a video on how you accomplished dreads on relaxed hair!

Why would you put up a video of something so interested and not respond to any of the questions?
MrsOrganics 2 years ago
Hey.
I have a question.
So you can start dread locks with a perm still in your hair?
I want to start my journey but people keep telling me cutting your hair is the only way.
please write me back.
thank you so much in advance.
