  • wonderful! the true talent, you right she was a Genius!!! I love Judy Garland!

  • What a great job you've done with this! THANK YOU! Your piece demonstrates Judy Garland's timeless appeal. Keep up the good work. Peace & Love to all! :)

  • GREAT JOB!! Also, great job on your teaser trailer for your documentary, "A Star is Remembered"! Cani't wait to see it. Judy's "A Star is Born" is my all-time favorite movie!

  • @classicmoviefan1 Thanks so much!! The documentary's going to be a lot of hard work, but it's also a whole bunch of fun. I hope everyone will be pleased with the final result.

  • This clip was from an outtake on another Garland movie yet when Summer Stock was completed they executives at MGM felt the movie didn't have a "big number" so they wrote a song and put Judy back in the same outfit and of course and created the "Get Happy" number which of course became another of her signature songs(some say her definitive signature song). She looks the best she ever did in this clip (in my opinion) RIP Judy.

  • 2:06-2:08 = my favorite. :-)

  • Genius At Work: YOU! Bravo, my friend! 5 million stars!!! :D

    P.S.: Wow!!!

  • What a fantastic document !...Thank You...

  • A wonderful tribute!! I also love to see Judy put to modern music, it makes her seem more now.. Although I feel like Judy was in a class all her own, no genre or time period suffices. ^_^

  • My Daughter & I were talking a few days ago ... she asked who my favorite actress was 'from today'. I hesitated.

    I gave her a ho-hum answer.

She knew what I was thinking ...

Then, she asked: 'Do you think Judy's talent would have translated to today?'

My answer: Yesterday, Today & Always.

It is always wonderful to see Judy in a contemporary concept.

    Translated & Transcended.

    Thank you!

  • @MicheleBell1 I absolutely agree - and that's why I often combine modern songs with images of Judy; the pairing is just so appealing to me. I think her talent does translate to today's culture - otherwise she wouldn't still be known. :)

    Thanks for commenting. Xx
