I wish I knew the text, but anyway, it is great to hear Hvorostovsky sing with lyric weight. When he sings with this type of vocal balance, there is no one who can touch him for sheer beauty, both of voice and phrasing. Just gorgeous.

@Soporificat if you buy his cd heroes and villains, he sings two arias of the opera Demon there (including this one here) and there is also the lyrics of all arias in the booklet with my cd.
