I'm glad that Sarah never intent to be an opera singer. Don't get me wrong. I said this because even she did all these opera arias for entertaining her fans, yet she's got so many bad critics from those who dislike her. To me, all those "Opera Guru" that said bad things about her singing in every of her videos should find time to go watch opera instead of posting bad things about her. She has a gorgeous voice. There are many excellent versions here, virtually any "La ci darem la mano" you can find is better than this. Also, the male part is supposed to be sung by a baritone not tenor. Check out Samuel Ramey and Dawn Upshaw here: /watch?v=wQ7PKtS2BR8 - this is what Mozart wanted. It's subtitled too.

She did seem to have some trouble getting her breathing under control, but I know that was just because she was sick. Her breath control is usually excellent. That also explains the uncharacteristic lack of resonance to her voice. But to say that she is less than an amazing classical singer is nothing but ignorance. Or jealousy.

Finally, when he's got her half convinced to go with him for a.. shall we say, private session, he begins to say "let's go" (andiamo). At first she is reluctant but finally she too says "let's go" so he grabs her and rushes off, before she changes her mind. When Placido Domingo did this at the end, I thought it was pretty funny.
