To be honest I like your sketchy line work and detail, although to other artists reading this remember to use pencil first! The style is great aswell, although the torso is thin at the stomach.You would make a great comic book artist and I think you would be better at this style. Anime is one of these styles which doesnt teach anatomy well and most great anime artists started drawing other styles. Anyway I encourage you to keep practising, you have skill:)

Everyone has their own way, but I think for most, it's good to follow the old classic idea of "General...to specific." In other words, very lightly "lay in" a few faint direction lines - then softly the big major shapes. Details come last. Then come in with your more permanent lines (or inking).

Of course, what's important is enjoying art and hopefully creating something you learn from and like or is enjoyable to others, and you've done that, here.

Well...hairy lines technique is really helpful for a sketch...but to attain a clean manga style line you need clean lines.

There are some mangas that doesn't have clean lines...but aren't sketchy either...I suggest you using sketch reference before pen.

The pen cry a lot, told me my teachers, talking about how the pen works...the pen is ruthless...doesn't forgive wrong placed lines.

Good job, keep the practice and focus on techinque before style.

Thanks for your patience. In the video, I used an ink pen that's made in Japan, by a Japanese company called Sun-Star. Specifically, it's named TWINART - Fine and broad point for art works.

Ordinarily, however, I just use a regular pencil for sketches, etc.

you also need to work on your line quality.

i see broken, short, sketchy lines. line speed and confidence will improve your drawings.
