  • Apart from the main ranges like the Tetons, Wind Rivers, Absarokas, etc., Wyoming isn't all that exceptionally mountainous is it, atleast not like compared to Colorado?

  • A view to a kill!

    What always fascinates me about the Rockies and the Alps (both are of equal height), is the altitude of the valley floors in the Rockies, they are about the same altitude as the highest Alpine mountain passes. The altitude difference in the Alps between the valleys and the mountain peaks is way bigger, like 10,000 feet.
