I am glad that the true story is being told to kids...not the "innocent lies" that we created, in which water down and dilute the testimony of Christians. At no expense do I tell false stories to my children...though the fake Santa Claus seems harmless and fun, it's a lie and its not the way I PerSONallY raise my own children. just my personal stuff - not trying to oush it on anyone...oneday, we will ALL bow to Jesus (Yeshua). @Excellence337 You should also see the short story about the real St. Patrick. It's on the VeggieTales Sumo of the Opera. You learn that he had nothing to do with snakes or drinking green beer, and that he wasn't even born in Ireland. It shows the relationship between the clover (the one with three leaves, not four) and the Trinity.

Thank you so much for finally putting out a video that explains Saint Nicholas! My 3 year old has been pestering me about him and I keep trying to explain it. Now I don't have to. I think he'll finally get it! :) As a note: we teach our children about the man Saint Nicholas, not the make believe man Santa Claus. :) Thanks again!

Oh yeah! He is called Saint Nicholas after all.

Nicholas actually spent a few years in prison for his faith. He grew up under the Romans, and was initially forbidden to read or teach the Bible. When those laws were repealed, he began ministering out in the open. He no longer had to secretly give aid to others or smuggle Bibles. But that secret ministry is what helped create the legend of Santa Clause we know today.
