  • AWESOME SONG!

  • r do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

  • great song. anyone can fall if they don't stick to the right path. (although in my experience, most 'christians' don't even get on it in the first place.) they arn't taught how.

if God was an idiot - traditional christianity and church structure would make sense.

  • Nice Song--We can all sing praises to God for His redeeming LOVE.

WOULD YOU PLEASE READ the following: I wrote a song from a phrase that my best friend, who was dying from cancer would say to me--”Mark, EVEN IF I don’t feel good, God is good”. He told me that even though he was dying, he was never happier in his life. Only God can do that. His name was Ron Williams. The song is titled--GOD IS GOOD EVEN IF; Just type: mark behrens (for the search)

    Thanks

  • this song has always uplifted me when i felt down n like darkness lurked around

  • You know people have opinions on here and that's ok but no one should be judging anyone lest we be judged and that is what I am seeing. We don't have to condone sin but we are told not to judge. The only one who can judge what someone does or does not do is our Lord. Praying for someone that has sinned is what we should do and nothing more. Our Father will be the judge.

  • Jennifer Knapp wrote a really amazing foreword to an anthology of poetry by gay and straight Christians around the word called "RAW: A Poetic Journey - Finding a Way from Conflict to Revelation" you can find it at Amazon you should check it out!

  • God made homosexuals too. Live with it.

  • @kewlkatspike God did not make man or woman to be attracted to the same sex...

  • Lust is a sin, and sodom and gomorrah was not destroyed over same sex relationships. Read the story and this verse:20-21 God continued, "The cries of the victims in Sodom and Gomorrah are deafening; the sin of those cities is immense. I'm going down to see for myself, see if what they're doing is as bad as it sounds. Then I'll know." Lust is bondage, love and truth free us! It's not suppression or repression; it is confidence in the Spirit and following the spirit that makes us free.

  • soooo sad i pray God delivers her from homosexuality

  • For those of that know that homosexuality is a sin, keep loving those that struggle with it, and pray for them. Pray for those that don't know or refuse to believe the truth about it as well.

  • @atrain515 Amen

  • @TheJesuslover17 nothing wrong with being a murderer and a rapist, molestor, or racist. Jesus loves us all. and even though jesus clearly preached against such things and the bible damns all fags to a fire burning hell, and even though all through scripture it says that fags should be killed and stoned and will not inherit the kingdom. God is wrong. humans are right. we do what we want and live perverse lives and disobey his commandments and we will still go to heaven! christianity rocks!!

  • @child3christ I'm a Christian, and I can easily say that what you think about Christianity, heaven, and salvation is wrong according to what Scripture says, but just out of curiosity... how do you expect to go to heaven when you say that God is wrong? if God is wrong, don't you think that heaven probably doesn't exist and that the Bible is false too? What do you think it takes to go to heaven?

  • Such silliness. Folks posting just to TRY to get someone to fall into the trap of ugly rebuttals. Let The Word of God do the talking! Some folks are just plain old miserable and TRY to stir up strife and conflict to then blame the Christian folks for defending God and his might. Just let it be. Wrong is wrong. Don't try to apply your Erasable bible to God's true & unchanging Word. (You know, the kind that allows you to erase what you dislike or disagree with, to make yourself happy.) Peace

  • Homosexuality is wrong (Romans 1, some other places I can't name off the top of my head). You know what else is wrong? Wasting hours upon hours arguing about this and other sins, that we for some reason consider worse than all the others- the ones we do. I don't struggle with homosexuality, so why should I spend so much time learning why it's wrong? What a silly thing we have made Christianity to be- a little game where we say it's all equal, but we live like we've reached some spiritual status

  • There's nothing wrong with being gay!

  • @TheJesuslover17 nothing wrong with being a murderer and a rapist, molestor, or racist. • @child3christ btw- that book "Love Wins" isnt completely true. thats not Christianity, that Universalism. the real question here is - should homosexuality be considered a sin? in that same area in the bible where homosexuality is condemned, having a beard and other random things were condemned as well, it was all part of the culture at the time. homosexuality was condemned at that time cause God wanted them to multiply and not waste their 'seeds' or watevs. just sayin. wat do u think?

  • @WeAreBullets You haven't read Romans, it seems. Homosexuality is just as soundly condemned in the new testament as it was in the old, if not more so. You may not like it, but the truth is homosexuality is a sin and an affront to God, just like all other sin. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. I pray that Jennifer will be delivered from her sinful lifestyle choice and well join us in Heaven ultimately.

  • @TheJesuslover17 Maybe to you being gay is okay, but if you are indeed a "Jesus lover," then you must believe in what the complete and true Word of God says, and realize that being gay is not okay with Jesus Himself. If you love Jesus, you will joyfully obey Him, even if it's hard. Saying that gay is okay is saying that sin is okay. It's one thing to be struggling with the sin of homosexuality, but it's another thing to fight it and live for God in purity.

  • I still listen to song and I feel so blessed at the end day

  • I am a Christian. I have loved this song for years. And I still love it. It is not my duty to say anything towards or about Ms. Knapp. It is NONe of our duties. Let us all make sure our own yards are clean instead on commenting on someone else's yard. I think we all have plenty of things in our own lives to keep us busy.

Father, May we be one. In Jesus name.

  • The sexual relationship between two women is beautiful. And you know every honest, straight guy on the planet that will look at Jennifer Knapp and not fantasize being in a menage-a-tois with that beautiful woman. Me included *chuckles*. I just have the strength to not care what Christians think.

Jennifer Knapp was caught in the social trap that is Christianity, and she broke away from it and won! That's wonderful. All that's left is for her to say she knows god doesn't exist.

  • how dare to deny someone to live a happy life!

  • can someone please enlighten me as to how homosexuality is a greater sin than lying or lust? everyone sins. everyone is guity. i struggle with lust and give in sometimes. if you sin and dont feel sorry or convicted then i believe that person is much worse shape than one who sins and feels awful. as paul said, "the things i wanna do i dont, and the very things i despise i do." i dont know about jennifer knapp. i think she was trying to twist the bible into saying that it propagates love even gay.

  • @pfog Homosexuality is not a "greater" sin than any other kind of sin. All sin is grievous in the eyes of God, and even one sin, no matter how "small" is enough to rightly condemn us to Hell for eternity; this has been the natural state of all mankind since the days of Adam. There is a difference, though, between occasionally failing and sinning when under grace because of faith in Christ as savior and redeemer, and choosing to willfully live in habitual unrepentant sin.

  • @WhiteCavendish Who are you to say what is and isn't a sin? I can guarantee that YOU go against what the Bible says EVERY DAY. If God didn't want people to be gay, he wouldn't have made them that way. We are, after all, created in His image, correct?

  • @nousernamessss: You ever read the Bible? Romans 1 for starters? And since when is genetic predisposition suddenly make something moral? By the way, Romans 1 explains why homosexuality invades a culture. Because it is God's judgment upon a society.

  • Let us all pray for Jennifer Knapp.

  • I think one important fact that people have to remember with the fact that all sin is the same is repentance. Yes we all sin, but we are also all called into repentance!

  • I see that half of the comments here are about Jennifer's sexuality.... That's a shame. I believe that she is a believer in Christ, and a sinner in more than 1,000 ways, just like EVERYBODY ELSE. I love them both, her and Mac, in any case. I HATE the condemnation. Look in the mirror before you enter the stone tossin' contest...

  • it is a shame we can't listen to this song because of jennifer knapp...

  • Comment removed

  • Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

  • I think it's truly sad that a Youtube video has become a comment war about Jennifer's life. You people really need to re-examine your values of you're wasting your time starting fights with people on the internet, purportedly "in God's name" because you can't handle the fact that someone who believes in the same God turned out to be something you don't like. Boo-hoo. Deal with it. It is the cold, elitist, cult-like mentality of people like YOU that does nothing but push people AWAY from God.

  • People!!! Give her a Break. I am a active Christian and I also realize that I am also a sinner who has no room to condemn another. What! are you all righteous that you can condemn her? When you are one hundred % free of sin THEN feel free, otherwise you better that sin is sin. No matter what that sin is, it separates us from God. That is why Jesus had to sacrifice himself on the cross. Not so you can condemn others.

  • @RNParamedic03---Bear one thing in mind: homosexual thoughts and desires are a byproduct of our fallen nature. However, so are thoughts/desires of murder, theft, and many others. If Jennifer claims to be a Christian, she should know full well that having those desires is one thing, but ACTING on them is another!!! Yes, it would be a hard burden to bear to desire someone of the same gender and not act on it...but it is sin. If she is a believer, she will need more restrain than most ppl have

  • i allways thought she looked gay. hope she gives that up.

  • well... i dont know why is there so much trouble about being gay. the Bible clearly says its wrong. If you trully are with Jesus then we should struggle against what is not righteouss. we can't leave the things are wrong in us to remain... sexual inmorality tend to lead to places such as homosexuality and also to a good concience this will sounds, as the Bible sais, shameful. if you are in homosexuality you need restauration.

  • god is so good

    hes so good to me

  • I"m so proud of her for coming out! GAY CHRISTIANS ARE HERE! were not sinners... that is the old testament.... GOD IS LOVE!!!!! and, if we could "choose" to be gay then when did you choose to be straight? if ur straight... then can u turn gay? no... but if we praise our amazing lord and see what is plan is.... i think it would be to follow him. being gay is such a small part of us! this song... this song is about his love..... who cares about homosexuality! Christ never said anything aobut it!

  • @seandean3rd You obviously haven't read the bible then.

"For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due." Romans 1:26-27

There is also 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. I'm not an active Christian but even I know this.

  • @seandean3rd

    lol

  • Interesting.. Quick to judge before judging yourself... How many are in sin daily. Over weight, smoking, cheating on their spouse, cheating their taxes, stealing from work, lusting after another, drinking hard liquor...All these are sins, and so much more...So which sin does the blood of Jesus not cover? We all live in sin, do we not??!! Do not judge but pray for each other with out judging. Remember the Lord is listening.. God Bless.

  • @Phase41950 Jesus said to judge righteously. also Paul said to judge those within the church. She is apostate from the Gospel. The difference between a genuinely born again person and a false convert is when a genuinely born again person sins against God they dont justify it by saying we all sin, but it breaks their hearts and they hate it! They hate sin for what it did to Jesus, they hate sin because they fear God. They dont embrace it! She is not a Christian.

  • @Phase41950

Question: "So Which sin does the blood of Jesus not cover."

Answer: The sin that is not confessed.

  • @Califacience The sin that is not confessed and turned from...

  • Buy not! I care enough about Ms. Knapp that she will not profit from me, when releasing a message such as this. When people do something wrong, as we all do, we are ashamed. We do not wear our sin with pride. She may change, but she will not change if she gets her record sales, which she wants. This is not being a judge. She can change. But she is sending the wrong message to people.

  • It becomes more and more disheartening to see Christian artists going to this lifestyle. It hurt me when Ray Boltz came out and now discovering this about Jennifer Knapp makes it so frustrating. Homosexuality is a sin. No worse than any other sin like gossip or lying, but still a sin. As with all sin, God loves to forgive, but we need to confess things to Him. I will definitely be praying for Jennifer and Ray that they come to repentance and receive the amazing forgiveness of CHrist

  • It is my firm belief that a person's sexuality should not affect your opinion of them or their music. She is a fantastic singer regardless of her sexuality, and very brave for coming out to the world.

  • @godskidx tell it like it is..I agree with you 100%....

  • was this girl a lesbian all along? I have all of her cds and now im confused hearing that she digs chicks a little too much...whats gonna happen to her..just cause she can sing doesnt condone homosexuality does it? sad to know this ..wish i never read the comments about her situation..but we cant be the judge only God can be..love you anyway still Jennifer Knapp..just not in a gay way.

  • GOD is "intolerant" HE is long suffering with us BUT intolerant -HE makes the rules...not us. We fall short when we try to make GOD in our image. "1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God."

  • Awesome I needed this tonight. Beautiful Praise is the Best. Takes me from self.

Praise teh Lord. Keep eyes on thing above. Many Blessings. Allelulia

Thank You There is much work to do for the lord]

skye2day @hubpages short stories of victory true

  • Beautiful song, praising God. When I heard this first didn't know Jennifers sexual orientation. Felt very sad when I found out.

There are only two states you can be in: Celibacy or Marriage. Anything else goes against God, The Bible and The Church.

  • loving God is about striving to be like Christ and repenting of your sin, so to choose a sin of homosexuality as a lifestyle is choosing sin over god definately, and is an intentional deliberate sin everyday she is in that relationship Hebrews 10:26 NIV If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, and also Romans 1:18-32 explains this very thing she is doing..its sad, she needs our prayers because of her influence she has

  • Wow, how patronizing. I'm not going to pray that God "bring her back" from anywhere, because she hasn't gone astray. She is just the way He made her, and she is beautiful. Instead, I'll pray that American Christians stop being so judgmental and take a good look at their convictions and how they interpret the words of Christ.

  • Beautiful voices and a nice song. I just watched Jennifer's CNN interview and am glad to see that there are people like her in this world. :o)

  • It's exactly the sort of intolerance seen in some of the comments below that give God and Christianity in general such a bad rap. Who is going to be drawn towards something that only seeks to find fault with who they are and condemn them? She's gay. So what? Suddenly her life has no meaning or value? Give me a break. God loves and accepts, which is more than I can say for some of you people.

  • @oneleggedspider

GOD is "intolerant" HE is long suffering with us BUT intolerant -HE makes the rules...not us. We fall short when we try to make GOD in our image. "1 cornithians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God."

  • Is anyone watching this lady on larry king right now?

  • @misdiva818 - God never associated with evil. James 1:13. If His purpose is to send a message to those who felt they were without sin enough to cast stones, He would simply say, "That is what the Bible is for. It's got all the answer you need in this lifetime"

  • homosexuality isn't only a sin but it an abomination before the Lord Jesus. God created a man and a woman for a purpose, but Satan want human to disobey God.

Yes, Jennifer, you have a beautiful voice, you have composed a beautiful song, unfortunately, all of that is garbage is you do not OBEY God; FOR OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICES.

  • Did she write this?

I am just going to cry...

    It's so beautiful.

  • I figured this event would spark some controversy.

My personal conviction. Homosexuality is a sin. As such I am sad for Jennifer Knapp that she has been led astray into this life style.

I do believe we must love the sinner hate the sin. So please pray that God would allow the fullness of his satisfying life dwell in each and every one of us who struggle with sin and the world in our lives.

    In Christ,

    Pai Chung

  • @paikimchung god you're ignorant

  • My personal conviction: Religion is a sin. As such I am thrilled for Jennifer Knapp that she is not longer going to be led astray BY THE CHURCH. She is now free to live her life as the person she always was and not be forced into living in shame and living a lie by the delusional, brain-washed, forever-in-denial fundamentalist Christian church.

  • @paikimchung Thank you, for being the person who hates the sin, and not the sinner. May God bless you.

  • @paikimchung

Love the sinner hate the sin. Isnt that the same for you?

  • @paikimchung I do not disagree with all of this but how can a person be "led astray" if their sexuality is not their choosing? Too many gays have killed themselves because they are ashamed of something they have no control over.

  • @evionthemusicmon Hi I know where you are coming from. There is a lot of research into these things, where certain genes seem to give people an inclination towards ... I believe that the world is degenerative, i.e. things are getting worse and worse due to us turning away from God (known as sin). So this may be a cause behind these genes (as a hypothesis not solid proof or absolute truth) but even so. (plus there are socio economic influences)

  • @evionthemusicmon

    1. that research is not conclusive

    2. It doesn't mean people are not responsible for their actions

The bible is clear in saying homo sexuality is wrong and thus engaging in that is turning away from God and choosing to do our own thing.

  • @paikimchung I would like to educate you some. Can you please tell me where you get this false info about homosexuality being a sin?

  • @cvgsusfreak08 Hi there, I would go with what the bible says.

Leviticus 18:22 Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

  • @cvgsusfreak08 Romans 1:26-27 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

  • @evionthemusicmon 2 Corinthians 4:4 (read) also Romans 1:18-32 (read)

  • @evionthemusicmon; I believe that there are addictions that are impossible to overcome without the Lord. Alcoholism is a great example of a sin that is so compulsive that it can't be ovecome by our own efforts.

We all need God's love and healing so badly. The key is to surrender everything to him; our hearts, ailments, health, addictions, sins...everything.

    May God bless you.

  • @evionthemusicmon But the Bible makes it every clear that it is our choice. Because of Adam's choice we are doomed with our sinful nature, but through Jesus we find forgiveness and all sins! The bible also says we will never be tempted beyond what we can stand.

  • @paikimchung AMEN TO THAT. :)

  • @paikimchung

I am homosexual, and I am a Christian. I just wanted to thank you for your attitude. Too often we see people spreading hate in the name of God, and it's just not right. We are not here to judge and condem, we are here to set examples of what it means to walk with God and spread His love so that others will see how wonderful He is and want to live their lives for Him. Thank you for setting a good example. Prayer is much more effective that hatred. May God bless you!

  • @danyalesgirl

Your profession of being homosexual and being a Christian is an oxy-moron. As others have stated, homosexuality is a blatant sin as evidenced by Romans 1. It is sadly described as the ultimate example where individuals are so engrossed in their lusts that God has given individuals over to their degrading passions. Sodom and Gommorah was destroyed in Gen 19 because the city was lost in their lusts, and wanted to have homosexual relations with the two angels.

  • @danyalesgirl

You are right that we are not here to judge and condemn. God has already done that. Ultimately it doesn't matter what you want to believe, but what God says in His Word is clear. I pray that you would turn from your lost ways to a forgiving God

  • @paikimchung Amen, brother! Amen, and God bless you!

  • Jesus didn't say one thing about lesbians being evil. He just said to love each other and I'm pretty sure this girl is following his advice better than the hypocrites who discriminate and bully in his name.

  • @emochuu If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. (Leviticus 20:13)

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. ... (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

  • I like how some of you act sinless before God. In case you didn't know, the Bible says we're ALL sinners. And besides, homophobia is only one interpretation of the Bible. It isn't our place to tell God whom He can love and accept. The arrogance is mind-blowing, really.

  • I am so happy for her. Now that she has come out as a lesbian, she can finally live true to herself.

  • Sigh. Nobody really knows what is ultimately right. I don't care what Christians say or what non-Christians say. We don't have a true explanation as to why humans/animals are attracted to the same sex. That doesn't matter to me anyway, I just love her music.

  • Good for her for being true to who she is. I personally don't know if homosexuality is a choice or a genetic trait. Given homosexuality in non-human animals it is probably at least in part a product of genetics. It may also be part choice and/or a product of a person's experiences.

But even if it were 100% choice, so what? Being a Christian is a choice and I don't judge my father, mother, grandparents, etc. for choosing that path. I'm not a fan of her music, but I support her completely

  • Yay for Jennifer Knapp coming out as a lesbian and living authentically. If you are gay or lesbian and reading this, know that God loves you as God created you!

  • You people are so hypocritical! You're judging a woman you don't know! I just barely saw who this person was on CNN and saw she came out and is a Christian music star. Do you not see her God-given talent? God made her the way she is! Why can't you see this people! Why? You don't know the pain us gays go through! CREATED BY YOU! Why would be choose to be gay if we know full well we will be harassed and many times killed! I have faith one day you will all accept us as equals.

  • It's hilarious to see all these Christian Taliban who think homosexuality is a "sin." I've got news for you, SO IS EATING SHRIMP! Read your Bible and then judge yourself.

  • God loves gay people. I am so happy for my homosexual brothers and sisters in Christ. Wear that rainbow flag with pride!

  • @pimaggot , You're sooo right! God loves gay people... but the question is- Do you all LOVE God?

  • Jennifer Knapp is a lesbian :S

  • @annimortildeath effing hilairious. Just goes to show even God isn't immune to karma. :D

  • @annimortildeath and???

  • God loves Jennifer but she is separating herself from Him by living in sin. God cannot look at sin. He gave us Jesus to cover our sin but Jesus said - repent. He said to the sinful women at the well if you drink from my water, you will never thirst again. Jennifer cannot be drinking from His well and isnt repenting if shes living in this.

  • @DrArbitrage I don't really think it's up to us to decide who is and isn't living in sin. Christ never spoke out against homosexuality. He did say to follow the law...however, that "law" includes many MANY things we absolutely do not follow (shellfish, fabric types, etc).

As a Christian, I do my best to love. I assume you do the same, so let's not add condemning words to an already condemning religious populous.

  • @DrArbitrage I was unaware that God had sent you to cast judgement on her as well as others. Perhaps it is God who is giving her the strength to come out into the world and say "Here I am". Would it be better for you, if she "deceived" you and never spoke of her feelings? Would you rather turn your head and cast her away for being honest. I believe that it is wonderful that she is able to lead people to the Lord through her lyrics. God loves everyone.. no exceptions.

  • @DrArbitrage Certainly, idly sitting at a computer talking shit about somebody must be a sin. One of your many sins, I would imagine.

  • @DrArbitrage Insane Christians ITT

  • @DrArbitrage That is about as ignorant a statement about lesbians as they get. For Jennifer to change her orientation would be tantamount to you changing your race. The ex-gay myth is just that, a myth and though there are religious nuts that continue to propagate that myth (it's a very lucrative business) there are thousands upon thousands of former "ex-gays" who have come full circle and exposed the lies of the "ex-gay" industry, a religiously based industry that is damaging to many people.

  • @Rockymtntruth I totally agree. It is a business that has ruined many peoples lives and has caused way to many suicides. Ignorance is a killer!

  • I am here to spread the word of Christ, & ask everyone, including straight Christians, to truly become one with God by becoming a Gay Christian. It is our duty to convert u. Christian Gays are the strongest Christian, & will one day take over the ministry of Jesus. Being gay is a spiritual blessing. It puts one closer to God. Like Christ our savior, we have to experience persecution & discrimination, & it only makes us stronger. God is on our side, & anyone who is not shall go to hell

  • She will be held accountable for souls shes leading astray by giving approbation to sin. I know first hand that it seems impossible to defeat the lusts of the flesh. Only God can win the battle. He will fight it for us if we cry out to Him. I was healed and I could never have done it on my own. Jennifer should check out settingcaptivesfree com. That is what I did.

  • Beautiful song... but sadly... she has also given in to urges of the flesh. To be a lesbian is against what The Bible teaches us. Hopefully her faith is still strong and she'll find her way back. I truly hope she does.

  • completely heart crushed...i am so depressed in my soul over what happened to my favorite singer :'(...

satan's false Christianity, then destruction of the Body of Christ will begin in a new way it hasn't before.

    "Jennifer Knapp Comes Out"...

    jenniferknapp-apr10.html?start=5

  • Ciao everybody! I really love this song. I've tried to find this song in every shop in my city but never found it. I've tried to find in the net for download, but it's for US only.I live in Italy.Could somebody help me?

  • I love this song check out my cover :))!!!

  • Jennifer Knapp is back, she is on myspace and has new songs here on youtube too.

  • This is a great worship song. I am sharing this with Calvary Chapel in Owasso, OK and see if the Lord brings this song of worship to our body. Wonderul words and great praise song.

  • Father God, in Jesus name I ask you bless Jenn and rain your Spirit down on her. Father keep her safe from the evil one and cover her from those who may seek to deceive her. And may her work bless you and all who hear the wonder of what you have blessed her with. In Jesus name we who love the dedication she's put forth say, amen!

  • I have loved Jennifer Knapp's songs but what happened to her? She hasn't been around for a few years now. Does anyone know why she isn't producing more songs? I pray she's okay.

  • i heard she's preparing to release a new album in 2010!!! so excited for that! :)

  • @fanson411 her new album is due for release on may 11th...but this one will not be targeted toward a christian audience, though she says her faith will still be present in her album, and she feels it wouldn't happen (putting her record out in christian sotres and such) considering she's gay. personally, i think her album's still gonna rock.

  • She's fine. I hear that she's just focusing on her own life for now. I guess she wanted a break from music?

  • bock bock bock 2:02

  • I really don't have any words to describe how beautiful this song or our Savior is!

when I hear it, I instantly lift my hands and just worship!

  • YEs, sing Alleluia. For who he is, for who he has been, and for who he is going to be. Just realised MAc powell has one of the best collaborations in some songs he sings. Think Born again by him and LAcey Mosley, and then this one. Is gret.

  • Absolutely beautiful song. Praise the Lord! <3

  • Beautiful!!

  • You don't need to be a Christian to appreciate this song or this music in general. The lyrics are not overly religious and are just simple expressions of praise.

I am an atheist, but even recognize I recognize that this is a great song!

  • why are you athiest?

  • Stratoart.....I think Someone is calling your name.

  • Praise God, Beautiful

  • I love this song! its beautiful!!!

  • Praise to the giver of all good things. Merciful Father, Holy king.

  • whether we say halleluia hallelujah or alleluia

GOD is still worthy to be praised! xD

  • @alawndra u mean like how god kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21). God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there. He orders the killing of all the men, women, and children of each city, and the looting of all of value (Deuteronomy 3). He orders another attack and the killing of all the living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen sheep, and asses (Joshua 6)

  • Jesus Christ is the Son of the most high God. As a matter of fact, Jesus Christ IS GOD. John 1:1-3. I am not worthy to even look upon his awsome glory, but because of his great mercy, I belong to him!!! Isn't that great!!!

  • Doesnt matter if I am a slave, servent or son.I belong to Him the holy One.Jesus Christ,Son of God.Sing alleluia

  • Praise to Jesus Christ who is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I am not worthy to even look upon his awsome glory. But because of his mercy, I can be HIS!!!

  • beautiful video....Praise the Lord

  • Are we slaves of Jesus Christ? We should be.

  • no we not slave of Jesus we are children of God and Jesus

  • umm...read ur Bible...we're both. slaves, childern, ambassadors of God, stewards...i love this song!

  • Yes we are slaves to Christ. When it says we are bond-servants, the original Greek is not servant, but slave. The scholars of the first English Bible changed the wording to soften the meaning. Just something I've learned in my studying.

  • no it mean were in his dept

  • Yes, but we are slaves within the context of a choice...we choose to be "unconditional servants", which is the defintion of a slave. We do this on the basis of our love, as his children. This makes the situation a bit different from the lot of earthly slaves. They are unconditional servants because they have no choice, not unconditional servants BY choice. Ofcourse spiritual revelation and scholarly study are interdependent, without one, the other is lacking.

  • I love this song.

  • Beautiful video and song!
