I have a very clear memory of this from April 1977. My then girlfriend and I were watching the racing on World of Sport when an old horse called Zarib fell at the last and rolled on his neck. My girl, who knew about horses, got upset and while this ad was on in the break she said that she just knew Zarib was no more. Sure enough Brough Scott made the sad announcement when the racing came back on and my girl looked at me and said simply "told you".
The original ad showed a family and the Dulux dog returning through deep snow to a paint tin-shaped house. I LOVE this song! Late1976 and early 1977 I think......
(continued) Very powerful for an impressionable 16-year-old, the music almost sounded like angels that day.

I have been trying to track down a copy of this song for years now, an excellent post but does anyone have a full version of it?
