Each charge does the least work to bring other charges out of shieldth, then those make the shape of interference, and every charge after does the average work to fill out the size of interference. If a detector lies in the path, it eats the charge so that wavefronts behind it cannot bear, but beside and before it the interference still happens because the one charge bore chargelets in the slits that still do its work--

This is not a distinction between mote and wave behavred, but between direct and stimulated emission. A body that has fewwer and loosser [for]bidden states will induce nearby charges (beside the slits) to repeat its near-field from manifold sites. The slits are the hòlògraf. The charges and masses, however, do not split up nor do they bode (exist or hav expectation value) everywhere:
