@2012renaissance She is a Barnevelder. She is the most gorgeous hen I have, but she's *always* trying to go broody! Right now she's broody AGAIN - her fourth time this summer. She'd make an outstanding mother, but when you just want eggs, this breed is a bit troublesome. :D

One of my pekins has gone broody this week she is a right madam.
I've filled the nest box with rocks and she gets dunked a couple of times a day in cool water.
She doesn't like me at the moment!
