Just got black one 2009 for my wife, this car rox. Really nice looking car inside and out for the money, no road noise, really solid, before I never liked Mitsubishi but now, I really love this galant.

I know. I grew up with a Diamante and unfortunatley my parents swaped it for a Hyundai XG350... I miss it so much... I currently have a Kia Optima but the next car I get will be a Diamante

i totally agree aswell, that the 1997-2003 model was brilliant, as stil look good here in england, i know that they have cancelled the concept ZT but i really hope that the next galant look likes the 1997-2003 model and that it is also exported to England :D

No! wat happen to the aggressive looking galant. now it looks somehow like a camry. i had a 2000 galant and this is not wat i was aiming to buy next. maybe a fortis now that a aggresive look. too bad for the galant. it doesnt look bad but is just not wat it used to be.

By the way mitsubushi sales were up 17 perecent in 2007 this comapany is on roll and has 90 yr of making cars they know what there doing

Gawd, so fucking ugly.. : ( The eight-generation looks so perfect, and the new Lancer/Galant Fortis has surely lots of influence from the eight-generation Galant.. This? Gawd, this is some but-fucked, bigger? uglier and boring version of the crappy 9G.. If I'll by me a new Mitsu it will sure be a Lancer.. But I'll miss the V6 :(  Designers in Mitsubishi needs to shoot themeselves :(

Now that Chevy, Toyota, Nissan, and Honda have crazy mid size sedans, Mitsu needs to step it up, and for another year, they haven't. They're going to be living off of the Evo..

agreed unfortunatly i saw the next eclipse and i dont mean that concept with the dors up (fto) and the next eclipse had a evo front on it its on the inside line site the galant DOES have a re design coming but most companies dont redsign all their cars in the same year i think 2011 (late 2010)

they shoulda just redesigned the galant. could use one after 4 years. needs more ponies, 1 more gear, and maybe, just maybe, a diesel engine. i drove a diesel pajero(montero)LWB over in UK, got the equivalent of 33.7 MPG from the 3.2 DI-D. imagine how efficient it would be if they put the outlander's 2.2DI-D in the galant. with that kind of MPG, a fresher look, and all that power, mitsu will finally start moving again.
