The Black Mamba is probably the most dangerous snake. Yes King Cobra has the most potent venom and is much larger, but this snake has better speed and very unpredictable behaviour, can be really aggressive. Can attack from the ground or the trees. Couple that with its deadly venom and its the Best

The guide had told me it was a python. I know pythons aren't that dangerous.. not the small ones anyway. All they can do is to get around your body and crush your bones. You do not want to ever corner a Black Mamba.
It can bite you 5-8 times before you even blink.. and just 1 bite is enought to kill up to 20 adult men.
Thankfully most Black Mambas are shy, and will flee away when they hear a human approaching.

Hmm, this video contradicts what Austin Stevens said in one of his episodes on Black Mamabas, he claimed it would not be able to out run a human, this video says it can.
Someone is wrong.

That snake is only fast because it's in Africa. I can out run that snake here in Canada in the winter. Let's see how fast it can move when it's -10c. lol
