  • Either you guys are EXTREMELY white or its the brightest day in earth's history while you filmed.

No offense, I still laughed cause I could see it.

  • i cant see it

  • I like the tonailty of this film. The story, in my opinion is not of the same quailty of some of (I am supposing) later works. However, such are things when you are first learning. My ceramic stuff is still not very god (in my opinion.)

  • Meh, what can I say? My first movie.

  • I know. Besides, I find sometimes making something for class is different from what you want to do. But, like I said, I like the quality of the images used.

  • hey you said you did this for an assignment for school. what type of grade did you get?

*not insulting the video* but if you got a good grade then im defenitely taking film school. right now im a sophomore in high school and ive made a few good films.

  • I got an A because it was actually exposed somewhat properly and it told a story. You were only given 3 minutes of footage with a pretty shitty camera so it isn't the easiest thing to accomplish actually.

  • so do you enjoy film school then?

    and thanks for replying

  • Yeah. It was probably one of my best decisions to transfer and change my major my freshman year.

  • ok i might do that then. i never planned ahead at all and i still have no clue what i want to do

  • Never too late to start. Better get moving though.

  • wat

  • that was shitty... real shitty

  • Yeah.... I know.... At least it shows a progression. I think.

  • yeah! all filmmakers need to start somewhere!

    =]

  • "I would like to proudly present my first piece of crap. "

    lmao

  • Well, though this may be your first film, The Tale of the Misfortune Cookie was pretty damn awesome, especially for your second film!

  • " So after months of learning, weeks of planning, days of shooting, and hours of editing I would like to proudly present my first piece of crap. "

    I'm sure this is a big exaggeration...right? O_o

  • I wish it was.

  • im not trying to be mean stan but...was this supposed to be good? misfortune cookie was way better. =P

  • I don't think it was really supposed to be anything, but me getting through a tough assignment. I guess I didn't care much for making a lot out of a black and white silent movie with only 3 minutes of footage.

  • Well after watching it again, it was sort of funny =P

  • Zomg lol, light is burning my eyes !

  • that was pretty cool.

    Good job!

  • DAYS OF SHOTING?!?!!!? :D hahahhahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahah

  • How come there is no sound...

  • It is a nosoundfilm....

  • More like an 95. Half the other movies were just pitch black.

  • This is your first and I must say, it's pretty impressive. But look Stan "DP" Wong...fiddle around with your cinema techniques and you'll get better over time.

  • rofl

  • I heard that guy in the black was going to be in MI:4. Can you confirm this?

  • I checked the sources and apparently they didn't want to hire a C movie actor. Probably going to get an SS grade actor.

  • The basic premise of this is two guys are having a quick draw and one guy gets shot in the hat while the other is shot in the chest. The film is very overexposed and you aren't supposed to see the second guy literally throw the hat off himself. Also, we are in fact using our fingers as gun props...

Despite how terrible it looks mine actually turned out better than 75% of the class.
