  • Damn! Great quality video! Thanks for sharing.

  • POWERFUL!

  • wow...i just witnessed a man raping a drum set...........

  • i'm no drummer, but as a musician this solo floors me each time. not just cuz of the technical expertise, but just the variety and how it fits the song soooo daaaamnnn welllllll.

  • 1:18 he fucking chokes the China to his left like a boss.

  • Maynard got totally upstaged, until he started to dance... then he got mostly upstaged... best song i've ever heard, runners up would be Parabola or Lateralus, it's hard to choose... this band is amazing.

  • Maynard has the best seat in the house!

  • Danny "the lion-fucker" Carey <3

  • My favorite part is not the drum solo part, its everything after that. The solo builds up some magic that realeased thereafter.

  • dont know what i would do without this band.....

  • Ladies and Gentlmen... Danny The Beast Carey

  • @javierfranco07 actually, it's Danny the Lion Fucker Carey... hahah (according to Maynard)

god dammit it's amazing how you can get high with Tool alone...

  • you will never see Danny Carey mess up a song!....

  • Do you mind if I use this footage to edit the entire song? I will give you credit for the footage.

  • Mr Danny Carey OWNS!

  • The double bass roll at the very end adds a whole new scary element i didn't think was possible

  • Danny's kit certainly doesn't look like it used to. Are all of his toms now electronic? It certainly looks like it.

  • @alpur214 no they are not

  • @TorrMup Oh. What are they?

  • @alpur214 check out dannycarey .om

  • @alpur214 i think those are roto toms for no losing time on tunning with a key

  • Billy Cobham is one of Danny's main inspirations...VERY MUCH, a jazz drummer. Look him up if you don't already know people. Take this as a lesson..."There has always been someone that did the same thing before you, only better". Same holds true in the world of drummers.

  • just notice how awesome and loud that crowd is. man the crowd alone made that show if you were there at the key arena that night you must also have season tickets to the seahawks cause let me tell you man the 12th man was present that night loudest fans in the NFL also showing support for Tool one of the many reasons why im proud of being from the 206 (cobain and hendrix aside) can't wait for their new album really hoping that comes out this Jan!

  • is it just me or does it seem like maynard is kinda over singing almost like he does not feel it this concert?...when you listen to his vocals in this specific concert it sounds like he is not completely tuned into his emotions of when he originally felt the song and created it as he did in other performances ?!?!

but in any case TOOL IS BEAST AND THE BEST EVER!!!

  • Remember they were on tour so.. I'm sure it's hard singing everyday for Maynard I can barely fucking sing 1 of their long songs lol

  • Oh.. my.. fucking.. god.

HD made it so much better too

  • Thumbs up for maynards awesome dancing! 1:29 I watched him the whole time during the show and did every dance he did =D

  • -BIG TIME DISAGREEMENT-

Danny Carey is -NOT- the best drummer in the world......

Danny Muther Fuccin Carey (is).... THE BEST DRUMMER IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE.

(Show me a better Alien drummer and I'll remove my comment)

  • @flybry1 it looks to me like Jon "mother fucking" Brockman is the best drummer in the world

  • @flybry1 Buddy Rich,oh does jazz count?

  • @goducksdpa just saying, daney carey was originally trained in jazz....

  • Phenomenal show and great video - thanks so much for posting. This is brining back an awesome memory for me!

  • Maynard is still the greatest singer I know of... But he sounds like he's fighting off a heart attack here... damn..

  • What kind of camera did you use? Fucking awesome footage on all your stuff!!

  • @mattwalker21 ya i was drunk

  • DUDE AWESOME FOOTAGE!!

  • i'm sorry i didn't go to this show. thanks for posting

  • Fuck Yes I'm seeing that tmoro! Arco Arena!

  • Does anyone know what the deal was with the drum off mid concert? A contest winner or something like that.

  • @wsumarley I believe that was the drummer from the opening act, Rajas. If I'm not mistaken.

  • Perfect timing to catch the whole drum solo, you had me worried for a second. Awesome video/videos btw. I couldn't make it to the show this time so it's nice to see some of what I missed.

  • I've seen Tool 9 times. This is one of the weaker shows. Only 10 songs and 2 were instrumental. WTF? I saw Tool at the first Lollapalooza at the Gorge with AIC and Pearl Jam. EPIC SHOW!! Also, not a big fan of Lateralus & 10000 days. I saw Tool in Portland about 8 years ago and they only played songs from Opiate, Undertow, and Aenama. Pure, raw, angry music at it's finest!! I was in the 4th row. NO ONE sat down in the entire arena. Last night, I was one the few people standing near me

  • @triblovingfool I was there and honestly, you didn't need to stand. The music was epic and every song they chose was perfectly placed. Each show is going to be different if anything it just makes you wanna see them again.

  • @triblovingfool I'm sorry man, but how could you not be a fan of Lateralus? Respectfully, from my point of view, that makes your opinion on these shows rather suspect. I feel that Lateralus is one of the most complete, moving, and powerful pieces of music ever made. I will agree that this was a weaker performance than other times I've seen Tool. However, that's on a scale of Tool performances; a weak Tool concert is far and beyond what many groups would be capable of at their best.

  • @mattwalker21 dude bro, please don;t stoop to that level. i;ve soon so many live performances by well renown muscians whether it be legandary jazz artisits to old school slipknow/lamb of god/godsmack/metallica/mudvayne/mnile i've seen the shit and this concert was the BEST live performance of any live band i;ve ever fucking seen and i saw Tool the last time they were out the Gorge and honestly this show blew my FUCKING mind

  • @killerproctologist I don't see where I'm stooping to since you're agreeing with me, haha. I've seen my share of amazing performances by a whole gamete of different musicians and this Tool concert was one of the special ones. To reiterate what I said previously, a weak Tool performance is still rendered as one of the most moving musical experiences one can enjoy.

We also are talking about slightly different concerts, too. I saw the show a couple days earlier in Vancouver, not this Seattle gig.

  • @mattwalker21 i agree man i think Lateralus is their best followed by Aenima then 10000 Days then Undertow

  • Amazing show i dont see how i see how this can ever be topped.so damn tight

  • What a f-ing show last night!!! Danny with the Brockman DaWg jersey is awesome. Tool dominates.

  • ABSOLUTELY THE BEST DRUMMER ON THE PLANET, FUCK YEAH!! Such an awesome band, and in my opinion, their best show ever, and I have seen them almost every time they have been in Seattle.
