  • Hey Nutn, ever had a chacne to look at the Kahr CM9? I'm waiting on my CCW to come in the mail and I think that might be the ticket.

  • please don't block me!

  • my dick is bigger then yours! hows that 4 productive??

  • I felt compelled to comment on your video as it was one of my deciding factors on purchasing a PM9. I purchased it about 3 months ago and even through the break-in period I haven't had one FTF or any other problem. I've fired around 1000 rounds through this particular pistol and have my accuracy with it solid now. I do agree that it takes practice and time to get used to the double-action trigger as well as it being a 9mm cartridge through such a small package.

    Thanks for the review!

  • nutnfancy, I appreciate and rely on your videos thanks, heah wondering what your thoughts are on a small CCW for beginners who are left handed either revolver or semi, thanks again for your serious reviews.

  • @itwasdin I'm left handed and I am a small guy. I'm 6'1" and weigh 135lbs. I really like to carry my Smith and Wesson 638. No safeties, and the only button is to open the cylinder. That being said, if i do need to draw and fire, i have 5 rounds before I need to press any buttons and reload. However if you like the semi automatic platform, I suggest getting a Glock.I have a G17 and I carry it frequently also. I put an extended slide release lever that is easy for me to press. Carry on!

  • what do you do for a living? what are your 2 professions?

  • Hey bro, love the videos! My thoughts are if your going to invest in an expensive gun or choose a gun that will save your life then as much information as possible is needed. Forget these aholes who say anything negative. It's not like your talking about family vacations. I appreciate your insight and respect your opinion. Thanks for the info and keep making vids.

  • I use to carry a glock 23, but found myself leaving it at home alot because it was uncomfortable to carry. I live in Florida, so its a little difficult to carry a larger firearm concealed with just a t-shirt on. I got my Kahr PM9 about 7 months ago and have carried it on my person everyday since I purchased it. Great gun, shoots great, and very comfortable to conceal carry.

  • Yack Yack, too much about you! Take the BS about you out and do the review.

  • Love this gun but I wish it was all 1 tone, black or (blued)....people who KNOW know what I mean. Not a bad vid & review....keep em coming. It would be nice if you did a vid on like 4 guns in this range - the PM9, LC9. PF9 and maybe one more in this size. Thanks for the post (i'm in the market for a "mouse /pocket" pistol. all the best - D

  • Please do a tabletop review of the Kahr P380 sometime... would love to hear your opinion!

  • "I might may more gun reviews, or I might not"

    Ha Ha

  • @Nutnfancy... What are your thoughts on the Kahr CM9 compared to the PM9? I Love your videos! They can be long, but are very informative. Thank you for all the videos you have done.

  • Can anybody recommend the cheapest carry 9mm semi auto handgun plzz!

  • @Bishopx97 kel-tec pf9, hi point, used revolver.

  • Iam gonna buy one

  • Nice vid

  • Hey...do us a favor wierdo......ur busy...DONT make any more videos....your as annoying as hell!

  • I have the G26 and a CM9 (cheap PM9), I carry either depending on weather and dress. We all know what a piece the G26 is but this little Kahr is a fantastic weapon. It is slim, shot well out of the box, easy to clean and to me good looking.

Mine cost $379 at Florida gun exchange.

  • LOL

Nevermind. The Kahr website lists this as almost $800. I'll go with a Beretta, thank you.

  • I bought my first handgun, a Glock 26, a few months ago.

I'm not looking into buying a pocket pistol for everyday concealed carry, because even with a quality belt and holster, a Glock 26 is very heavy and prints like crazy.

  • Are these little wonder guns +p rated?

  • Bought the PM40. High priced piece of junk since day one hasn't ever fed an single round on it's own after the first shot. After a good few boxes of ammo different types and sore hands from racking each round. Isn't worth an damn big regrets buying this thing.

  • plz make a review of the taurus pt140 millennium

  • Hhahahaaa!! Nutn is talking like "he may not do too many gun reviews" classic! I just checked back on this review for reference. Good old nutnfancy project... 100% consistent and reliable. Thanks TNP.

  • how much did it cost???? looks like a good gun

  • Almost no trolling on this video =win!

  • Which holster do you use with this pistol? I am pretty much sold on getting one of these.

  • First off...Thankyou for all the hard work on your reviews...I purchased the CM9, brother the PM9, so to speak...After the breakin period I think this is a fantastic weapon, a couple of well placed rds is all you need...I look forward to more of your reviews...

    Steeltoes

  • @nutnfancy

Why would you be a member of the NRA, and not a member of the Gun Owners of America? The NRA did something that was SHOCKING to me a few months back. They attacked Ky senator Rand Paul for amending the patriot act. The amendment "clarifies that the authority to obtain info under the USA PATRIOT Act does not include authority to obtain certain firearm records." Why would the NRA oppose this???????

  • Hi Nutn do you still think highly of this gun because i noticed in the more recent videos you choose to carry the keltec pf9, i would think if you had both you would choose the higher quality one the pm9. thanks for the vids

  • For a gun from South Korea, it's a good gun.

  • @SuperRip7 Kahr firearms are from Massachusetts.

  • kimber solo vs kahr pm9...cant make up my miiiind

  • I have found blazer rounds are hot and tend to leak hot high pressure gas around the primers and eat up the breech face in a circle around the firing pin hole.

  • this is the first handgun i ever shot, i was very suprised by the kick but after a clip or two i was use to it and am looking to get one or a glock 26

  • +1 for promoting civil comments. good review.

  • Yup, I'm really glad you kept up with the gun reviews too. no disrespect intended but I don't even watch any of your knife reviews. I'm a new fan, and I honestly didn't know you did knife reviews. Anyway... keep it up bro!

  • I love the pm9 great video!

  • Kahr Arms is an American small arms manufacturer founded by Kook Jin "Justin" Moon (son of Unification Church founder Sun Myung Moon), who currently serves as CEO and President. It is owned by the Saeilo Corporation (pronounced say-low), a subsidiary of Tongil Group, a South Korean business group (chaebol) associated with the Unification Church. (“Tongil” is Korean for “unification,” the name of the Unification Church in Korean is “Tongilgyo.”)

    This just turns me off.

  • Uhhhh......since revolvers have zero axially reacting parts, (eg slide, bolt...etc), don't revolvers have categorically higher recoil than a semi-auto pistol????? (ref: Sir Isaac Newton)

  • I heard Kahr PM9 is not reliable? Is this true? If so, this would be a major drawback, especially when carrying concealed for the average citizen, because you need it to go bang everytime without fail.

  • @MrSHIZZLE4u I've owned a Kahr PM9 since 2004 and have shot over 1,000 rounds with target ammo and self defense loads from four different manufacturers (Winchester, Federal, Hornady and Remington) with varying grains of 115, 124 and 147. All have fed well, and I never had one failure. I've noticed my best groups are with Hornady TAP. This doesn't mean others haven't experienced any reliability issues, but as for me this gun has performed flawlessly.

  • Look at his crooked finger nails. Eww!

  • fucking shoot it.

  • I noticed you mentioned aluminum case ammo. I am a big fan of cci products but also like a lot the steel case Russian stuff for practice lots of people don't agree with me on that, I have since found I love hornady steel match but its still to much for my taste. You should do a ammo review video.

  • I like your reviews , very professional...keep going..

  • Thanks for the review, Gonna get this as my carry gun soon, glock 19 is a great gun, but for me its hard to conceal with just a tshirt on sometimes.

  • Seems kinda silly that your video making is dependent on 'how productive' the comments are. If you delete anything, I would delete the first part of your video where talk about yourself...

  • @lennyspecv It may be "silly" to you, but its working very well for him, and that's the way he runs HIS channel. Thanks for watching. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy Well I just resent people who think they are a big deal. I found the video to be a turn-off because the guy comes across a little arrogant. Bleh.

  • @nutnfancy Don't ya just love the internet! I love getting advice from video gamers personally. But that's just my taste... Let's see Nut'n do a review of a Barrett Rec7! I find it strange so few non-factory reviews exist. I must know, is this rifle worth what I spent on it?

  • @nutnfancy

your sister talks so much she should get her own account.

  • @nutnfancy Every time I see a vid where a peep says WROL ,a term coined by Nutn, I comment " there aint Nutnfacy about WROL,lol..duel meaning ,but I wonder if people get it ?

  • @lennyspecv Get a life. The guy is not arrogant. He's forthright. You must be one of those kind of guys that stands in the background and mumbles all the time. Except on the internet, where you can be abusive without having to face the consequences.

  • @lennyspecv I totally by pass the first 5mins. Get to the review already. Thanks :)

  • Great reviews. Im in the market for a CCW pistol and have watched all your reviews on the models im looking at. Great job.

  • is the pm9 ur every day ccw

  • The great thing about the PM9 (newer versions) is that is has the option of a manual safety, plus it has a loaded chamber indicator (like the Ruger LC9 and Springfield XD's do), so at least you have the OPTION to have a manual safety if you want one, which I would. I just wonder if the PM9 has Glock like reliability, I stiill dont know.

The one thing about the Kahr PM9 that really sucks is that it is so insanely expensive. Over $900 for a PM9 with a external safety? Are you kidding me? Wow!

  • Good review, think you were nervous so you rattled a little bit at first, however, you ended well. I have this gun. Jams frequently but I was informed by a reliable gun dealer that it must be broken in (200 rounds at least), apparently after that it's fine. Anyone agree with that?

  • Nutnfancy, is the Kahr pm9 STILL your top choice for CCW? It is mine!

  • @bm206996 like i said your lucky

  • I'm really glad you decided to make more gun reviews in the future.

  • what are your 2 professions? i haven't heard you mention them but i haven't seen every vid, just curious.

  • "fight with your fingernails and fists...good luck with that" Ha ha!

  • Comment removed

  • yo nutnfancy, do you sleep with a gun under your pillow? bond style?

  • Yes I too would like to know if you prefer the pf9 vs the cm9?

  • Also join the GOA, Gun Owners of America, Ron Paul himself endorses them.

  • Nutn, is the pm9 still your #1 choice for CC? I know you are quite found of the pf9

  • Dear Nutnfancy,

I know that you probably don't have the time to read this, but what kinds of pistols have ambidextrous mag release/ slide release? I'm left handed, so obviously I need something that I could shoot too, since my dad is thinking about getting a concealed carry permit.

    Thanks for your time,

    John

  • In addition, I posted before I knew about the "Nutnfancy Project." Cool stuff. A lot of people are into the more price point stuff. What do you think?

  • liked the vid. I wanna see a back to back comparison of the taurus pt709. Also do you have anything against a .380 auto? It's practically the same round.

  • @BurnedBridge 380 is not quite a 9. You can take a light 115gr 9mm up to 1350fps safely, you'll barely break 1100 fps with a 95gr 380 running hot.

380 will kill you as dead as 9 will and there's probably very few cases where a 9 would have killed someone and a 380 wouldn't have, but there is a measurable advantage to 9.

  • btw, my wife went to high school with the guy who shot up VA. tech. Just goes to show you, it could be anyone. Laws can pass but they can't stop crazy.

  • Thanks for another great review Nutn!

    Cheers,

    Kel

  • @MountainPreacher1 That's funny because this video was two years ago and we got a HUGE positive reception to it. Since then, Nutn has done many others and they are similar. Apparently though, they're not going to be to your specifications, and you probably won't want to watch any more. No offense, but he's got a decent following who like his reviews just the way they are. Thanks for your input, even though it was negative. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • ... But now let's see a Kimber Solo Carry 9mm review, if you can get your hands on one.

  • Wheresurbrain... Where is your brain? No one forced you to watch the video. If I am not mistaken this the first TNP firearm review, without which we would not have the gun gear review that educate, inform, and promote firearm safety as well as the shooting sports. Nutnfancy god bless you for your contributions

  • The top round in each mag is lose. Therefore, I had several failures to feed while inserting a new mag after shooting all rounds in the first mag. Reloading seems to be a little important. Its possible someone might have to reload.

  • Hey thanx, gave me some good info on thiis firearm ... looking for a pocket carry ... I am a big guy, and have very large hands ... don't know if this is the one for me

  • An oldie but goodie. Is this still your daily carry?

  • what do you think of the kahr pm45?

  • Want to know why citizens carry guns? w w w dot kaotic dot com

  • A military member ? I think you have got your lips around your fathers member

  • pm9 awsome 500 rds wal mart no jams perfect gun carry in small small fanny pack unnoticable. quality is best crimson laser on mine super thin perfect carry piece thanks for review nitin fancy knows his stuff and know there are different opinions on everything but i have to agree thin and light on concealed carry piece

  • I do not like the recoil of my S&W 642 so I am thinking about the PM9. How is the recoil compared to the 642?

  • @bigdollars99 I think think the PM9 recoil is worse than shooting 38 special out of a smith and wesson snubby. But that's my PERSONAL opinion. The smiths fit my hand exceptionally well; that may account for why they are so comfortable for ME. I've shot full sized tactical 9mm pistols that were far more uncomfortable and even cut into my hand. That being said, IMO the PM9 recoil isn't horrible, but quite snappy. I would not want to shoot 100's of rounds through it. The PM9 is a fantastic gun.

  • what is the barrel length and weight of the pistol?

  • I've seen other reviews on this gun that said if you load a magazine into the gun with the slide forward that when you pull the slide back and release it the round will hang up. It said that you must install magazine with slide back and hit slide release for the round to chamber correctly. Has anyone else had that problem? I currently carry a glock 19, but I am wanting to get something smaller so I'm trying to compare a couple different guns with the kahr pm9 being high on my list. Thanks!

  • @6second2004gto love the gun by the way, its awesome

  • @6second2004gto i just got a pm9, a mass compliant one cause i live in mass. In my exp. you can charge the weapon either way, either by racking with a full mag or locking the slide back and then releasing. IMO the mags are designed poorly. You have to be very careful when loading the mags, ensuring that all of the rounds are seated correctly, not that you wouldn't do that anyways but you have to be more cognizant of that with these mags.I find the 6 round mag to be better than the 7 round mag

  • @trench05 Thanks for the reply I did also find a video where the guy was charging the weapon either way. I plan on carrying this weapon during the summer months with an IWB holster in the same location I currently carry my glock 19. The glock 19 "prints" on me in the summer when I'm only wearing a t-shirt. Even tho it's not a problem here in Iowa and no one says anything I don't like people knowing I have a gun on me.

  • @6second2004gto Kahr recommends in the manual that you chamber a round by locking the slide back, inserting a magazine, then using the slide release to let the slide slam forward and strip a round off the mag. That said, I've loaded the gun by slingshotting the slide, but you have to really let the slide snap forward. If you ride the slide, you're likely going to have issues. Just do it the way Kahr recommends, and you'll be fine.

  • @JoBatin Sounds like it's not an issue then because if you ride the slide on any gun it can cause issues. I would consider that more of an operator error than a problem with the gun.

  • Thank you so much for taking to time to post this review.

  • Guns are bad! Thanks for promoting them!

  • @blackniples your an idiot. don't promote yourself

  • I personally think the people who don't like the gun is there own damn fault, the reason it is recoiling so much is how the operator holds the weapon in their palm

  • Just shut up and review it already!

  • karh has a freaking sweet trigger

  • Hey how bout a review on the new Kimber Solo!

  • The bullets fall out of the mag when you carry a spare in your pocket. Next, it does not feed reliably. Once you fire all the rounds in a mag and try to reload, it becomes difficult to close the locked back slide on the next round. The company recommends to reload by locking back the slide first. However, one should be able to recharge by sliding back the slide a well. I sold mine because it is not reliable and the lose rounds in the magazines help cause feeding problems.

  • DO A REVIEW ON THE P380 I JUST PURCHASED ONE I LOVE IT I JUST WANT YOUR OPINION ON THE PIECE IT SELF I ACTUALLY WAS TORN BETWEEN THE TWO BUT I BOUGHT THE 380 BECAUSE I ALREADY OWN COUPLE 9'S GLOCK 17 RUGER SR9 S&WEASEL SIGMA...APPRECIATE THE WORK YOU DO BROTHER ALWAYS TAKE TIME OUT JUS TO CATCH A VID HERE AND THERE

  • How do you go about getting a license to carry a gun? I am part of NRA but I am only 18 so i can't buy a pistol; i live in california but I am wondering how to get one because when I am old enough and live on my own I want to be able to protect myself if needed.

    Thanks for your time

  • @piplup10203854

For one, move out of California.

  • The magazines don't hold the rounds tightly. Two or three rounds fall out of the magazine loose into your pocket if that is where you keep your spare mag. Also the gun has feeding problems due to these magazines. It has to be reliable and it is not. Therefore, I sold mine.

  • nutnfancy ever said what type of work he does?

  • @FloridaRaider maybe he can't!.... depends on what he does..

  • @FloridaRaider He's in the National Guard Reserves and works as a commercial pilot. Pilots are considered Federal Officers and can carry on the job flying. As for his civilian tactical experience, he plays with his toys in the Utah dessert. Despite his puffery about his experience, he does know guns and does great reviews even though he is very wordy.

  • Why Blazer rounds?...besides the weight issue?... I bought 15 boxes of 44mag blazers and have had at LEAST 5 rounds that did not fire in each box. I love your vids/knowledge of firearms, but this came as a surprise! please comment back....thanks

  • Its great to see that some finally speaks to the 9mm

  • @Rasey07 700 to 800?? I guess I got lucky, here in NH it was $560.00 I love this as a highly concealable pistol. GREAT GUN!

  • question: Is this good for drive-by shootings? thx

  • @itinkgirlzhot12 That wasn't covered by his POU. If you're going to do a driveby get a Glock and hold it sideways.

  • @PRSpl4yer i was informed a tec-9 would be good is this true?

  • Talk about waffle!! Get to the gun man! Wow.

  • That's a great gun, I'd like to get one just to see how it shoots. The most bang for your buck will come from the PF9 it's lighter, thinner, and less than half the price

  • I have one of those! These things are nuts. SO fun to plink with hollowpoints and this.

The trigger pull is really long and it doesn't kick, but kind of jumps in your hand. Great pistol.

  • Very helpful review. Thanks for taking the time to do it.

  • Likeability Scale on this gun?

  • I really like those Kahr triggers.

  • Interesting ammunition choice.

Gee, do you think you might make another gun review video?

  • Great review thanks. im looking into getting a PM9 here in the Boston area standard $725.99 night sites $825.99 seems like a lot of money.im looking for the smallest and most reliable 9mm i can find

  • @O7ROADKING thats because it has to be the "MASS COMPLIANT" version. I just bought one at Stateline Arms in Mason, NH. for $560.00, but the mass one is a bit higher... It is a GREAT concealable gun!

  • Good review; one minor correction - the Kahr CW9 is not the cheaper version of the PM9; rather, it is a cheaper versionof the P9. Kahr did announce a budget version of the PM9 at SHOT 2011 - the CM9.

  • Great review, thanks for your time. Fred

  • @Fishermanfred1 Thank you so much for watching, Fred. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy

Not long ago a U.S. company diamond back firearms developed the DB9 which is said to be both smaller and lighter than the kahr pm9. I've been told it cost less as well.

  • Thank you for the review.... HOWEVER.... SHUT UP ABOUT YOURSELF ALREADY! Good grief... you spoke about yourself for the first 2 and 1/2 minutes before you actually got to talking about the gun... I'm interested in the gun... Not all of the useless garble about your hectic schedule! Sorry for the harsh words... Just saying!

  • Thank you for the review.... HOWEVER.... SHUT UP ABOUT YOURSELF ALREADY! Good grief... you spoke about yourself for the first 2 and 1/2 minutes before you actually got to talking about the gun... Count how many times you use the word 'I" Scary! Sorry for the harsh words... Just saying!

  • What is it you dor a livi ng again? If i recall you are in law enforcement right?

  • beautiful gun

  • Thank you, I just picked up a very lightly used PM9 (old Style Slide) and love it. summer carry PM9, winter carry CW40. LCP in my pocket 24/7/365.

  • GREAT REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!

  • "I can't promise that I'll review a lot of guns." psh, little did you know where you are now. A lot of people rely on your reviews now.

  • what is you favorite carry? based on capacity, conceal-ability, and comfort? Im looking for something smaller, with a capacity around 10. thanks. nigel

  • fight with your fingernails or your fists... good luck with that .. lol

  • It IS California Legal

  • You should remake this video. You owe it to the PM series to do some comparisons just to show HOW SMALL the thing actually is. We all know you are credible, so remake the video without all the jargon and use your up to date format.

    :) Keep on truckin man.

  • Pussy state of California won't allow me to get one

  • beautiful design.. great review

  • I just bought mine yesterday. I have had a Kel tec Pf9 and have been carrying it for some time. They are both outstanding concealed carry guns. For the money the Kel tec is hard to beat. But I must say after breaking in the Kahr PM9, I am in love. This is a pricey gun and is hard to find but if you can afford it, it is well worth it.

  • @nutnfancy no likeability scale rating?

  • excellent, thank you Nuntnfancy... quick question, I've asked it already on your glock 26 vid, how do you reckon a kimber solo 9mm might stack up against the kahr and maybe glock 26? and one more, sorry didnt have much of a chance to handle these myself(writing from Poland), where does a ruger xr9c fall in the scheme of things?

thanks again for excellent reviews :)

  • Im thinking of upgrading to the pm45. Not sure how that small a gun will handle with a 45 which is why I havnt already. The pm9 is a snappy little gun which makes it fairly dificult to hold a super small group. I get an extra 1 1/2 " spread at 25 yds vs a glock 30. But for the size and comfort factor that is a non issue for my mileage. the only thing I dont like about the pm 45 vs this one is the grooves on the slide. The 45 dosnt go all the way to the top like the 9 does. Bad ergos imo.

  • @TheMos2818 He does tend to ramble and repeat things a bit but that is why you can click the load bar and skip thru if you start to get bored. He sais good things and he gets the job done which is why he has a decent fan base. 10min is a short vid for him. He talks quite abit about his own preferences and dosnt go into a cut and dry 'spec ramble' that most guys do. That alone made me subscribe.

  • This weapon is my ccw. Few observations. There is little recoil considering this weapon's size. I think its partially due to the monster recoil spring that comes with this thing. That being said, it is not a comfortable gun to shoot for big guys for two reasons. Really small grip and really small trigger area where if you shoot a lot, the tip of your forefinger will get sore due to rubbing to the top/bottom of trigger guard. Also don't try shooting anything over 20yrds. Love it nonetheless.

  • It looks like it's a great gun, but it's a bit pricey for me.

  • may make more gun reviews hahaha or I may not. hahahaha only if you knew then lol

  • @JAYDEE44 Right? He's got more gun reviews than anyone else I've found on YT.

  • kahr does more than a Glock, not cheap at all. PM9 comes with 1 x 6 rounds, 1 x 7 rounds magazine.

  • "i MIGHT make a video in the future depending on how this one goes......"

  • Pretty compelling argument for this gun, my curiosity is definitely piqued. Hopefully I can fire one soon and see what I think about the dao trigger/recoil.

  • Nutn, I have a question that you might can clarify. I was watching the Sig P238 video review and you compare the PM9 and it side by side. The PM9 look larger and thicker. However, the specs on their websites show them to be almost identical. Whats with the discrepancy? Especially the slide width. thanks

    PM9 9mm = Height - 4", Length - 5.3", Slide Width - .90", Weight w/mag - 15.9oz

    Sig p238 .380 = Height - 3.9", Length - 5.5", Slide Width - 1.1", Weight w/mag - 15.2oz

  • @ZombieTactical Ok, I may have picked up on it just now. The Kahr lists slide width, the Sig lists "overall" width.

  • nice ! i love that gun

  • "Fight with your fingernails and your fists, good luck with that"...... LOL

  • Have had my Kahr p9 for a few months now and love it. Nights sights, blacked out slide, sweet little gun. I carry it everywhere, tucks away nicely inside the waistband. Even in shorts and a t shirt this gun carries well and doesnt print. Love these gun reviews, keep up the good work

  • Thank you, nutnfancy. I never would have known about the KAHR PM9 without your report. Particularly about the modification to this pistol by, which prevents cuts to the finger, and accuracy training relating to the trigger pull. Comments by "tamandfam", illustrates: that his opinions are the epitome, quasi, consummate example of an anus. Everyone has one, and some smell more than others. "tamandfam's" opinion not only smells, it STINKS !

    Rock on nutnfancy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
