  • " Most people i meet including members of my own family take up the moral high ground with me personally, my there so sanctimonious it's gut wrenching, but get this i don't judge no body, so i say this to you what goes around comes around, yours Sincerely Neville aka 'Steppin Razor' a repentant sinner "

  • Elvis put his heart and soul into everything he ever sang. He was fabulous to look at and fabulous to listen to, and if it wasn't for him there would be very little on my ipod. I adore him

  • The best... on earth, and now on heaven besides God...

  • incredibile Elvis.

  • I wish i could've seen him live. I hate being 14, i missed real good music.

On a brighter note, his voice mmmmmmm♥

  • que c'est beau

  • The King Of Music

  • The KING #1 FOR EVER

  • I wish elvis was still here to say thank you for the song in the garden we played it the day our mom passed on now she is an angel just like Elvis is

  • Elvis was more powerful than money. His feelings towards it also reflected that.

  • Man the the unbridled pain that oozes out his wonderful throat is so contagious. Nobody has ever emoted as well as Elvis. Makes the words stick you like a knife in the heart. God I love this singing. Nobody does it better.

  • how can words and music be by lloyd webber and tim rice when elvis died in 77

  • @sukes58 cause it was recorded in '76?

  • Comment removed

  • Respond to this video... They were alive and writing then...duh!

  • @sukes58 Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber had been writing together since the 60's & were big Elvis fans. By that time they had written Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Evita, & Jesus Christ Superstar.

  • The 'Messiah'

  • this song says the pain of love and heart ache!!

  • Why Hollywood never make a movie about Elvis Presley ??

  • There was only ONE KING who took our sins away ELVIS could not do that but he could take away our troubles for a couple of hours and leave us with Loving and everlasting memories even after 34 years or is it 35 you see we are all getting old but WE WHO KNEW HIM KNOW HE STILL LIVES. He will never die not in our hearts. He will never be forgotten.Hugs Bobbie

  • So glad I got to see Elvis in concert in June 1977 at the Macon Coliseum in Ga.

I wish he would have lived longer. He is greatly missed !

  • how God could give so fantastic irreplaceble voice just for a man?

  • WONDERFUL !!!!!!!!!!!! THIS VOICE !!!!!!

  • The best ever, the king of Hearts..I LOVE YOU..WE LOVE YOU

  • Beautiful song!!

  • Joe cannot understand how ELVIS did what he was able to do but I understand. When your heart and soul is full up with LOVE it spills out on everyone around you. Its also NOT TRUE THAT ELVIS was a drug addict. You will never find a drug addict that can go out and do what he was able to do without his words and singing being slurred. That never happened so why are people still calling him an addict. He took prescribed Medicine. I guess every diabetic out there is also a drug addict.Makes me sick.

  • @1943AngelEyes He was addicted to prescription medicine, he overtook all of his unneeded prescriptions. It is TRUE and despite it all He could sing like that. Elvis was a very sad man, Dr Nick made sure he got what he wanted. Elvis viewed street drugs as wrong but if the Dr prescribed them, they were great. Get your facts straight. I have tons of proof as I am an Elvis Collector since 1967.There are many functioning drug and alcoholic's in this world, millions of them. Look around you.

  • What a fabulous human being. Greatest singer ever. As Joe Esposito said, the song went into his brain, through his heart and out his mouth. There are no words to explain how he did what he did.

  • One of Elvis's best songs.

  • Loving and Remembering Elvis is easy,Love you always Elvis.

  • we love you elvis got tears in my eyes

  • EXCELLENT

  • voce magnifica e magnifica interpretazione.

  • this song is one of my favourites, gets me every time i hear it.

  • Just listened to ITS EASY FOR YOU. Elvis always showed his pain thru his music and his eyes. I have always been able somehow to understand where he was living at in his life when I looked into his eyes . SAD at times and at times you could see the anger flash from them. But as far as everything else. ELVIS was a very responsible Kind and Loving man who was not ashamed of his heritage and his upbringing he wanted to give it all away because as he said I have no need of these things..HUGS Bobbie

  • Loving and Remembering Elvis is easy.......we do it every day. Love you always Elvis.

    You are still TCB <3<3<3

  • B R A V O !!!!!

  • Please say a prayer for Elvis tonight.

  • @teeye1 of course ,,,every night!!!!!!!!!

  • FANtastic song. Everytime I hear Elvis do this song it really touchs my heart. He sang his heart. The song had to be right for him. If it wasen't he knew it by the lyrics He wanted the band and the singers to have fun and enjoy the show but he expected them to never be at ease. They had to be ready at a moments notice at times he would just change a song midstream and they had to be ready. This is one of the things that made him such a great man. Elvis was full of Love for others. Elvis was REAL

  • Very true, I am 48 and been an Elvis fan since about 1970 and by listening to the Elvis, thinking of what we lost...brings tears to my eyes. Just like thinking of my mother brings tears and tears to my eyes. Elvis died on my mothers birthday. So that day is a double dose.

  • I'm a grown man, 48 years old and an Elvis fan since 1968. I don't cry much and to be honest it takes 2 things to bring me to tears. When I thinlk of my Mom and her death and Elvis' death and the way he can bring my emotions to the surface.. Takes a powerful person to do that !Love this man, what a force of nature. Thank GOD for Elvis.

  • @lexingtonMO = Your words summed Elvis in the perfect way -- He is an incredible "Force of Nature"!

  • @lexingtonMO I know what you are saying, I am nearly 46 years old and an Elvis fan since I was 6 years old in 1971. Elvis is the greatest entertainer of all time and he will be remembered forever. Elvis is the one and only king of music.

  • @lexingtonMO Yeah great song one of his last ones in the studio. Also Really good video by the uploader - LONG LIVE THE KING & HIS LEGACY!!!!

  • @lexingtonMO Just read your comment hun, you are right and I understand exactly what you mean. I often listen and watch Elvis and it is not often I don`t shed a tear, he was is and always will be the greatest singer/entertainer of all time and I miss him so very much.

  • @lexingtonMO Couldn't put it better myself, exactly the same as me in everyway, stunning voice and such a wonderful man. Lost my mum, miss her so so much its unreal and she had a horrible death aswell god bless her. They say times a great healer but i totally disagree, as time passes it just gets harder and harder.

  • @lexingtonMO I completely agree. He's an amazing man!

  • @lexingtonMO I lost my husband 3 years ago - people say I should be "over it" by now but I will never, never, ever be over him. Listening to Elvis's "sad" songs is all I have left and "helps get through the long lonely nights. Can anyone relate to this?

  • @22Jeanie In the space of 6 months, I lost a good neighbor of 21 years, 2 Aunt's, 1 Uncle and the worst of all, my Mom! I know it may not relate to the death of your husband, but life can be cruel. My one belief is in GOD and that he will re-unite me with my Mom when I too pass. I know Elvis is already there. I will pray for your grief and pain to lessen as I know it will never truly pass. Such is the power of love.

  • @lexingtonMO very sorry bout your mom.great comments about ELVIS.a FORCE OF NATURE IS THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE HIM.

  • @lexingtonMO Same here, I've been a fan since 73, I am also 48, ELVIS has helped me through many of bad times .. I am still very proud to say I LOVE ELVIS and he will be in my heart forever.. Thank You JESUS for sharing ELVIS with us !!!

  • the king can never dead in my heart

  • Elvis is and was a great human being, coupled with his talent as a singer, it meant to him to become the singer of the century and of eternity. Elvis believe in GOD and carries it in his heart as the most important in his life that´s

So always offers all that hi´s and work to HIM and recognize Jesus as his savior and guide.

  • hi, can anybody help me, please...where can I get the picture from 0:14??? It´s amazing... :)) thanks

  • @nenynkaa looks like it's from the movie "it happened at the worlds fair" look that up on google and you might find it.

  • @nenynkaa

It's from it happened at the world's fair, search for this on google you'll find the picture.

    Always Elvis

  • du var och är den bästa.Bravo.

  • What a fantastic 1976 song from the King. Tim Rice once said on TV that he was so proud when Elvis sang this song. Col Parker didn't allow many songs from outside writers to get through to Elvis.

  • like thousand other songs this song is my favorite -Robert

  • As much as I admired him,I wouldn't say he is the 'PRIME EXAMPLE' of what any human should be.We all have that innate goodness within ourselves. He did do many wrongs, and had his flaws. You people need to stop worshipping him,and realize,he was a human being as well. Now go and rant, and rave to me in messages.I will not read them.

  • @rainwrap he did more for humanity than most others could even dream of. nobody is really doubting he had flaws -- be we ALL do. and since he has passed on there is no point on dwelling on any negativity in the past because its the goodness of Elvis that remains.

  • @rainwrap Lol We dont worshipp him we respect him for what he did for the music and for his fans if you dont mind me saying

  • @rainwrap Good. Don't read this. But I have to say, if I admire, "worship" anyone, Elvis should be that person. Compared to other "stars", Elvis is the best. Yes, he was human with frailties, faults, but he cared and moved other people in a positive way. Nuff said.

  • i love this song!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This composition was written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber of Broadway fame. It was written specifically for Elvis, based on his divorce. Although Elvis did not commission this song it was - of all things - a free lance piece that was actually sent to Elvis in the mail. This is all true!

Odd that these guys, best known for shows like "Jesus Christ Superstar", "Cats", "Evita" and more, would be thinking of Elvis Presley's personal life, but we should all be glad they did.

  • Elvis is the greatest entertainer that ever lived and he will be remembered forever. Elvis is the one and only king of music.

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • the package comes along maybe once in a lifetime.we were fortunate to live in that lifetime.unfortunately Elvis needed what he lost to continue.

  • What a beautiful song, and Elvis had (and still has!) the ability to touch your very soul with his interpretation. This song could be the story of his life, and it was recorded in his Graceland home the year before he died.

  • forever those times are gone. omgod what happened? we lost a great entertainer and i still hurt from it. r.i.p. E.

  • ELVIS was certainly CHOSEN. If we think about what and how many other doors were opened to country to the blues to rock and roll but no matter who came along the charm and the LOVE ELVIS GAVE would never be outdone. he gave so so much to others who didn't even deserve it. He was USED AND ABUSED by people he thought Loved him. You know who really LOVES ELVIS. WE DO those of us who keep him alive for all these years we have kept him singing so I guess we are giving back a PINCH of what he gave.

  • such heart in this!!!

  • Wonderful Elvis! Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote this ♥song for Elvis♥

  • Just have tro keep coming back to listen to this one song it is so hard to understand sometimes why GOD chooses to give us such beautiful people and then some ignorant Dr gets them hookd I know ELVIS was in a lot of pain after his concerts and his stage dress clothes were so heavy it must have been so difficult to wear them but when he started singing he felt nothing but his music and never let his audieance down. His music and his memory will live on. Hugs Bobbie

  • a highly, highly underrated song. One of my favorites from the jungle room sessions. You can just feel the pain

  • Nice video & GREAT SONG !!!

    Thnx

    RareElvisPresley com

  • Thank you so much for this video, I thougth that I have heard all his songs, but I have never heard this song.

  • Such a beautiful and very and song, i miss you Elvis, you´re truly the King.

  • Miss you so much Elvis

  • He always was,is and always will be the king of music,bc he sang about subject that nobody even thought about bringin up and in the way he did he made everybody listen (in the ghetto is just the perfect example)

  • This was and is one of the most beautiful songs ELVIS ever did and compared to the music of today if his music was played there would be even more sales then there is but everything he ever did is still being bought and paid for by not only those of us who was with him but our grandchildren love him its as though he never really died his music will live on how much do you see of dean martin and frank sinstra and the other golden boys. its because ELVIS was full up with GOD and LOVE. Hugs Bobbie

  • Az emberiség legnagyobb ajándéka Elvis Presley

  • Rediscovering elvis.......damn, not to many compare. Roy Orbison maybe, Johnny Cash?

  • Rediscovering elvis.......damn, not to many compare. Roy Orbison maybe, Johnny Cash?

  • elvis is the king of kings

  • @monkeybubbles420 Sorry But even ELVIS DECLARED THE NAME OF JESUS TO BE WHO THE KING OG KINGS WAS DEAR> MAYBE YOU NEVER KNEW HE STOPPED HIS SHOW AND MADE A BUNCH OF WOMEN SIT DOWN WHO CALLED HIM THE KING THEY HAD IT WRITTEN ON A LONG PIECE OF RIBBON OR PAPER ONE HE STOPPED SINGING AS SOON AS THEY STOOD UP WITH THAT AND TOLD THEM STRAIGHT UP THERE IS ONLY ONE KING AND HIS NAME IS JESUS I AM NOT A KING SO DON'T CALL ME THAT. Hugs Bobbie

  • @1943AngelEyes Please leave religion out of this.

  • @Fodderingham Don't exactly know what is wrong with leaving CHRISTIANITY in. I don't believe in RELEGION. Thats just a hyprocritacal way of saying I am a Christian. ELVIS was a man he made mistakes like we all do but FREEDOM OF SPEECH gives me the right to say whatever I want to say. If you don't like what I say then when you see YELLOW you will know its me so just don't read it. . No offense meant to you but I believe in the REAL THING. Hugs Bobbie Hope we can still be friends.

  • @1943AngelEyes ...King of Rock and Roll Dear...NO ONE has these two mixed up. Give another human credit would ya!??

  • @TheKelly50 Sorry if you were offended but some people really though of him as a KING THE KING the sign didn't say KING ELVIS the way we say KING JESUS. Yes I know the difference and so did E> AS E said he dosen't get into this kingship business and gently said please don't call me a KING there is only one KING and his name is JESUS CHRIST at a full house concert. Hugs Bobbie Hope to be friends not looking for enemies.

  • I miss you! 8.1.2011.

  • Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh my love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Unreal nice.

  • i love the king

  • elvis has to be sexies white man that ever lived. his face was pure heaven

  • @Bradincalgary47 you said you have seen elvis 4 times in concert.i only wish i was one of those people who could say i have seen him there to,but this is somthing i could only wish, people somtimes ask what would you give 2 of seen him live,I would of gave my most valuble possesion to spend a day in the kings shoes,,,that would of been my life no probs........CHEAP AT HALF THE PRICE.........R.I.P

  • When Tim and Andrew wrote this song we're quoted saying they had based the song on what Elvis had gone through in his personal life. Great song ..very sad and to the point x R.I.P KING ELVIS

  • This was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.

  • great recording and Elvis at his best !!!!

  • One of the BEST Elvis Presley recordings. Too bad it was little known- there is so much passion and sorrow in his voice. Thanks for sharing... great video.

  • The One and the Only ELVIS PRESLEY .No one will ever be able to fill his shoes. and No one will ever be able to do what he has done for the millions of people out there he was a christlike man walking as he did with GOD for GOD. He completed his mission and I know when he stood before the LORD JESUS SAID >AND I QUOTE WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVENT. Because he would never stop recording takes until HE KNEW IN HIS HEART THAT GODS ANNOINTING WAS ON HIS MUSIC. Beautiful man hugs bobbie

  • live performances killed Elvis , i almost wish he stayed doing movies...

    RIP Elvis

  • @AJMaddal sure they might have killed him. but at that point in his life all Elvis had left was his music and his fans. he might have died too soon. but i think it was what was best for him. he's back home now with his brother jesse.

  • @AJMaddal I don't think so. Because I think elvis's live performance was the greatest thing he did. I mean when he was on stage I couldn't take my eyes off him.

  • Check out my jam on Hound Dog!

  • This song, speaks Clearly, what was going through Elvis's head fits him so well...the words are like "My Way"...an so, so, many others...he began to do more an more tearful ballads...why? Because his heart was hurting...and all he knew was to sing about the "Pain"..., so sad, Elvis could have been helped, if only Elvis himself would have let others around him to help him..

    WadeElvisMan

  • This song sure fits Elvis's true feelings at that time in his life...such a sad song.. it.should have been a big hit...Awesome pictures as well, some very rare, good job.

    WadeElvisMan

  • This song sure fits Elvis's true feelings at that time in his life...such a sad song.. it.should have been a big hit...

    WadeElvisMan

  • He is the man, that is for sure!

  • Has anyone ever asked yourself the question or even sat down and tried tounderstand how it came to be that a young man for Tuplo Mississipi and after moving to Memphis came to be who he eventually came to be. How do these things take place.Elvis came from very humble beginnings and the wonderful thing about him was HE NEVER FORGOT where HE CAME FROM. This is the reason because his heart was overflowing with LOVE for others, WE GET BACK WHAT WE GIVE OUT. He made the right choice. REST OUR LOVE

  • @1943AngelEyes- I read about him and how he came on the music scene.twisting and sexy and literally shocked all the people (especially men who did not want wives to realize about such things).Yet, he had one of the most profound voices there ever was - and it's like you said he had love for his music ; people who come from humble situations seem to have the appreciation for the words he sings;Rare, tto find a young man who will ever know the depth of love that Elvis did.even if they have talent.

  • @InaudibleSnow You are so right dear ELVIS boots were definetly made to be worn by only one man and he wore them well. and LOVE like no man had ever shown to people all over the world. he was a beautiful man some have compared him to an ANGEL. I compare him to no one for there is no one who can compare. Thanks honey sweet to know that so many are catching the fever and yes they tried to stop him from swiviling his hips as they called it but he was alive with music. Hugs Bobbie

  • @1943AngelEyes I have just seen the comment you made, you are so right, I honestly believe Elvis was put on earth for a reason, he was so genenrous because he knew what it was like to be very poor, he had a heart of gold , he knew that it was his fans who put him where he was and he appreciated the fact. He was so humble, I love and miss him so very much and it is as raw almost 34 years later as it was on the 16th August, 1977. God Bless Elvis x

  • @1943AngelEyes = true... & its simply because of fate. -- Elvis was destined & chosen by God to be who he was.. -- Elvis himself believed this, and spoke of it often later on in his life.

-He would often ask his friends, -"Why was I chosen, and plucked out off millions to be Elvis Presley?"

  • @JimmyD4u69 I absolutly agree HE WAS CHOSEN. To help bring about a bigger plan that only GOD knows the answer to but it was all a plan from the time of inception. it was never meant for his twin to live it was meant for ELVIS to live the life he lived because GOD placed a LOVE within ELVIS heart that could not be measured. He was a beautiful soul and always worried towards the end of his life about wheather he was doing the right thing or not.He was concerned but he had no need to be. HUGS Bobbi

  • @1943AngelEyes Elvis would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. What performer today would do that ! ? Elvis is my King. When you hear of someone like, Gene Simmons of KISS, saying that he,"loaned his Mother the money for her house down payment", I get sick. Elvis would have given everyhting he had for his Mom to be back with him and HE MEANT it. GREAT humanitarian. P.S. Did you know Elvis gave away over half the money he earned i

  • @lexingtonMO Bless you for saying that. Your statement is exactly the reason Ill forever adore Elvis.

  • @lexingtonMO Yes I did know that Vernon had a problem with it but Elvis always was there if he got word any one needed help but he was not a man who bragged about what he did and It may surprise you but the EPE still gives to over 100 charities because LISA MARIE would not let that be changed. Also you may be even more surprised to know he made provisions for any possible other heirs he left behind after his divorce from Priscilla he had his will changed before the divorce. Hugs Bobbie

  • @lexingtonMO He bought Graceland for his mother. Nuff said

  • @1943AngelEyes

    It's the American Dream...

I shows us that with the right commitment everything is possibly in the land of the free...

  • @1943AngelEyes I agree. He was truely a "one of a kind" There never will be another. GOD bless.

  • @1943AngelEyes wow this is pretty deep. Elvis was a one of a kind. there will never be another.

  • It´s easy for Us to love and watch Elvis everyday, because He is the best singer of the World.

  • @mima3344 AGREEEE

  • I love every song Elvis recorded and that includes his home recordings, rehearsals and takes.

  • The lyrics flow and draw you in and capture your heart, before you know it.

  • Do you say Elvis recorded this as late as 1976? Obiously he still had the grip, it´s sung with Elvis´ intuitive flair for emotions - couldn´t been done better, could it?

  • Poorly produced, but Elvis` ability to reach down and touch your very soul, were present also at this stage (1976). Written by Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Tim Rice, and released on his "Moody Blue"-album (1977). Both composers have said that they were greatly honored when Elvis recorded their song.

  • @Machomannorway

    YOu are right.

How do you detect the low production_I just want to learn.

  • Il n'est pas mort, n'est-ce pas?

Sa musique sa voix restera éternel.

  • hmmm det er altid lettest for den der går

  • Thank you for touching our heart with your music.

    R.I.P.E.

  • It´s easy for us to listen Elvis Presley everyday, because His songs are very sad and beautiful.

  • This song is so sad. He has so much emotion in his voice.

No one can compare to this.

& I agree, he is the only artist that can sing & bring tears to my eyes; for happiness & sorrow.

Hes one of those rare artists that you just 'feel' like you personally knew; I hope that makes sense. Haha.

    <3 RIP

  • Elvis toutes tes chansons touchent mon coeur! le seul interprète qui me fait à ce point vivre les émotions qu'il fait passer dans sa voix... toujours le King!

  • @nanou70

do you have any french songs by him? if so please write back would love to listen to him in my native tongue . je parle en francais mais j'ecrie tres mal.

  • @Nanounanou111 UNFORTUNATLY NOT! je ne crois pas qu'il n'ait jamais chanté en français... ou alors maybe ...in private ;-)

I'm sure I'd have loved his accent!!!

  • Every word and lyric coming out of his mouth is fine tuned.

  • absolutely beautiful song, sung by the best! ♥ miss you myelvis

  • THE KING OF ROCK AND ROLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • elvis was way ahead od his competition they couldnt keep up with him. theres like a black hole in the space of music now the king is dead.

no matter what anyone says elvis will always bee the king

  • awesome, elvis was on a different level to the rest of the mere mortals

  • Elvis is the man. Listen and cry if you have to.

  • I'd just like to know who the 5 idiots are that voted down on this amazing song by Elvis..

  • Never heard this before, must check out Moody Blue now. Thanks

  • Beautiful video! He will never be replaced. 33 years now. The pain at his loss goes one, but so does his music. It's easy for us all to remember him.

  • I agree that it is unbelievable that such a great song by Elvis is not widely known, even one of his number ones. I had a copy of Moody Blue, but recently heard this on a Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice collection and now can't stop playing it. I am not the biggest Elvis fan but the stuff I own I love and this is just fantastic as is the whole of Moody Blue

  • Great performance from Elvis and effectively simple yet poignant lyrics by Sir Tim Rice. Why is this track not better known?!! Amazing to think that a Presley/Rice/Lloyd Webber song is not better known among the general public, let alone among fans of those three individuals. Especially as the track is a gem.

  • AWSOME PICKS OF TH KING M8 LOVE IT GREET SONG 2

  • just another great treasure from the king. thanks purelistener. your uploads are great songs, most of which i haven't heard before.

  • I never tire of listening to him hes beautiful someone once said of him and I quote. Women wanted him and Men wanted to be him. Never was a truer word spoken . I think if Priscilla could go back in time she would never have let anyone turn her head and heart away from him. I have no idea what possesed her it had to be Lust. But shes smart she will go to her grave with the last name of PRESLEY. Does anyone think she deserves the privilidge. I don't want to hurt her or Lisa . Sorry if I did. Bobbi

  • Elvis touched the soul of his admires,I was on of his today tomorrow and always no one could touch him. It ditn't matter what he sang ..He did it better than any one what can I say ,he was marvelous ..supercarol
