I love this song as well! Does anyone else out there dig the rockabilly sound as much as I do? I know they are VERY different, but don't you think that Morrissey and Isaak are similar in terms of their sound and their songs about loneliness and sadness? I just love this damn song!!! So beautiful!

Take this hurtful CI´s song for instance, if you are all right and stable you can sing it along...say with a breath of hope till the end but if not you barely get to the middle with a thorn stuck in your tonsils. Either way if it touched your heart you should be delighted at the end. That´s a way of feeling many CI´s songs and words.

There were comparisons to Elvis in his late 60's era when this song first came out, and I'd say that is a pretty fair comparison. This is a perfect example of Chris combining his influences while still making it his own. Great song.
