@86Ivar I see your angle, but I suppose a CNC is going to be programmed to cut something as close to perfect as possible. Most anything hand-crafted is going to have some noticable, slight imperfections. A CNC could be programmed to make a piece with imperfections seem hand-crafted, but it is still not the same. If I wanted to buy a hand-made whatever, and suspected that it was made on a CNC, I would look for something else. I quess the answer is that sometimes you won't be able to tell.

@86Ivar I understand where you're coming from. But, I think that things like this will allow average people to purchase off-the-shelf CNC machines, download a file and create a masterpiece. The people with old-school skills will become more sought-after and more respected, although fewer and fewer of them will be around.
