  • He looks like a beatle :D

  • Too much wah, voice is annoying, just dont like it

  • steve vai and joe satriani should adopt this boy

  • @simlobe maybe if you were 8 years old and already a great musician you'd get noticed too. Jealousy will get you nowhere in life. Nobody is going to come and knock on your door and make you famous. You have to get yourself out there and work very hard.

  • Ha...just fantastic!

  • pues no se otro idioma pero con el simple hecho de verlos tienen mucha presencia y el talento esta chingon mis respetos para ese grupo

  • Clapton's regenerated !

  • and he can sing?!?!?!.......

  • No way he´s eight in this clip. If he´s ten it´s still ok.

  • He does look like John Lennon. What a natural player. Nice vocals too.

  • All these artist today (justin beaver, rebecca black, lady gag etc) probably just do their shitty music for money and fame when artist like quinn sullivian will probably do this because he wants to play. i see quinn as a FANTASTIC player in the future.

  • the funny thing is me and his cousin are really good friends he said to look him up and i did

  • AHHHHH!!!! THE CRY BABY PEDAL!!!! GREAT COVER!!!

  • Here's what I don't get. Many people on the comments toot their own horns and say oh I can do that just as well, or better, and I'm not on tv, blah blah bullshit blah. Yet how old are those people? 20? 30? 40+? This kid in this video is 8. Considering boys usually develop a little later than girls, he's had what, 4 years, tops, to really pick up what talent he has? So stop being jealous that he gets some shine for this. If you want it, go earn it, and stop bitching.

  • ABSOLUTELY AMAZING-

  • @misterguitar360 I suppose I disagree. Things are always gonna be unfair; people get discovered, some people dont. Beyond all of this, check out Quinn, now. He is pretty good. He tours with Buddy Guy. I love music, and I love to see people who also love music keeping it alive. He's a sweet kid.

  • Amazing

  • this is the thing that annoys me i can do that just as good, most of his stuff i can do better than him and i dont get to be on tv

  • @snimblobe Well ya, that's 'cause you're an asshole!!

  • god this kid is amazing

  • I have no hope for my own musical aspirations after watching this... holy crap

  • Please, someone buy this lil badass a vintage Strat, he deserves nothing less!

  • Saw this l'il guy at Bluesfest last nite - OMG! - kudos to Buddy Guy (the master) for nurturing this amazing talent - WOW! It's hard to BELIEVE the blues from a 12-year-old - but make no mistake - this kids got SOUL baby!

The thrill is gone???! Just wait kid!!!

  • This is a true artist...FUCK Justin whatever his beaver name is.

  • @misterguitar360 He goes all of this because they've been following him and his progress since he started playing at three years old. And he was amazing at 3 and 5, etc. He deserves publicity.

  • @misterguitar360 I've seen better performances of him btw. But you're right. There's always a factor 'Luck'. Don't forget the 8yo is playing on tv, he will be nervous too :p but I liked him on stage with buddy guy :)

  • Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel

  • Honestly this is great, AMAZING played, he reminds me of a Clapton junior... :)

  • Ugh.. 69 people are just jealous.

  • Photoshop!

  • Maaan i can't even play guitar hero that well....great job Quinn! :D

  • 1 Word: IMMENSE!!! :D

  • totally different class of of awsome talent than whats in the mainsteam

  • it bothers me that every time there's a video of a talented kid musician, someone has to go and compare him to justin beiber. why???

  • OMG, i never knew justin bieber played guitar ! :O

  • this kid + drugs = a beast!

  • Its not right that young artists like this don't get recognized on an everyday basis but spoiled brats like Justin Beiber and Rebecca Black get all this money and attention for their shitty music that they don't even write...

  • @YouCanCallMeCharlz well im your opinion but he also didnt write that song ;D

  • @stocki94 neither Justin Beiber or Rebecca Black...

  • @YouCanCallMeCharlz I completely agree, except he hasn't written anything yet also. I hope he does. He's an amazing talent on the guitar.

  • Move over Stevie Ray !

  • WOW!!!

  • he seems so mature lol more mature than me anyway xD and im older than him

  • Awesome awesome awesome. Blues legend in the making. One thing though, pls lose that STUPID Justin Beiber's hair.

  • Sound like Michael Jackson's reborned with Jimi Hendrix. I'm beginning to gain back hope in the music industry. :)

  • How cool is this kid? Are you listening Jacob & Wyatt??

  • now dont get me wrong this kid is an animal. his guitar playing is great. not flawless but great. however he overdid the wah and he fucked the song up.

  • Yeah, he's great for an 8 yr. old playing a simple 12 bar blues, although he did hit a bad clinker at 4:29. He'll be even better after he falls out of love with that cheesy wah wah pedal. Very talented kid, should do well.

  • he walks on the song he dont swing with it and needs more miles

  • paul mccartney hahaha

  • this guy is awesome i am 14 and been playing 1 year i practice all day long and wish i could use a wah wah like this guy

  • this kid is amazing, but i can't wait to hear his voice in 5 years

  • Yeah it looks like a miniature Squier Strat. Perfect size for him. Can you imagine him holding a full size 24 fret Strat? Damn the kid is good!

  • Anyone notice hes playing a Squier?

  • Anyone notice hes playing a Squier!?

  • I think Quinn should spend his summer vacation as an apprentice at Uncle Eric's place. That would be pretty boss and would certainly hone his already impressive skills on the instrument. If Mr. Clapton should decide to take on the challenge, Quinn will surely advance rapidly in becoming a Jedi. Quinn if you are reading this please do us all a favor and use that beautiful ES-335 you received from Ellen. That guitar will give you the force. Keep up the excellent work and good luck for your future

  • Did this kid learn how to play other peoples songs? Or did he make some of his own. Because if he is just good a playing other peoples songs he is not a prodigy. If he is able to write his own stuff then yes he is a prodigy.

  • @Epica124 dude it don't matter if he's a prodigy or not, he's already a seasoned blues player, with his whole life ahead of him!!!! and anyway what are you? beside's jelious that is!!!!!

  • @Epica124 hey epica, he play's the giuar better than you write, have you read what you wrote, what the heck is "just good a playing other people's song's" that don't even sound right , quit judging him, and worry bout yourself!!!! you probably don't even play anything, except yourself, LOL

  • @Epica124 Quinns CD comes out March 22. All original stuff.

  • @Epica124 That's completely WRONG! next time you write something google it first so you don't make an ass of yourself. A prodigy is someone with an unusual gift or inteligence;someone's talents who excite wonder and admiration. An a guitar prodigy has nothing to do with having to be able to write you own songs. Check out another child guitar prodigy, Tallon Noble Latz. Why such a hater

  • Who is this kids teacher? I need lessons!

  • When he leans in to the camera to show his teeth, he needs to impart a touch more evil in that grin...of course, how much evil or heartache can an 8 year old have?

That's a rhetorical question, by the way...

  • He Goes to my School , Hes 12 Now . He Played Eruption by Van Halen Outside the School

  • buddy guy endorsment, really too!

  • this kid is in my class

  • He looks like a Rory Gallagher reincarnation

  • OMFG this kid is amazing at singing too! WOw.

  • He's a thousand times better guitarist then the beatles, and puberty's gunna hit him like a truck

  • This is the kind of talent which should be sucessful. Nowadays we've been listening some THINGS that couldn't be called MUSIC. Anyway, good job little boy!

  • This is the kind of talent which should be sucessful. Nowadays we've been listening some THINGS that coukdn't be called MUSIC. Anyway, good job little boy!

  • 8 YEARS OLD? ARE YOU KIDDING?

    OUTSTANDING is the only word!

First of all great to see someone so young perpetuating this music.

Those like Quinn ensure the blues will live on.

I got to hang with KWS when he was still a teenager and thought he had remarkable feel for the blues (so did people like BB King). But Quinn is only 8 years old and has that type of talent. Love the way he seems so relaxed....enjoying himself. A born showman.

  • a talent for sure , look out in the future , the blue will live on for another 50 years hopefully . unless of course he discovers beer, cars and girls and then god knows!

  • the next clapton

  • hes like a mini beatle

  • I am very impressed with the amount of people on here who think they know what is best for this kid. I am sure all of you have record contracts, and you're just passing on freindly advice. By the way......It is the guitarist....NOT the guitar.

  • away to obsessed with the beatles....

  • @stepshere Lucciano pizzichini is ten billions better...

  • @Yesius1987 no he's not... you need to look further than this clip

  • Boo someone spank him for using that wah pedal then take it away.

  • Little McCartney

  • @snh444

    looks like young John Lennon

  • I like the head shake, like the Beatles. Keep it up Quinn!

  • dude freakin Ellen gave him a gibson why doesn't he use it

  • @RexDaMan321 he probably does. just not for this song. what gibson did she give him? a 335?

  • @BRoss48 yea i think

  • @RexDaMan321 might be a little big for him, so he isn't as comfortable playing it. the 335's are pretty big. the bodies on them are monsters.

  • @RexDaMan321 probably has it in a case lol

  • Muy bien chaval eres el mejor. You are the beast.

  • i am in love with this kid! oh my heavens

  • He's playing a squire?!! That's just not right... GET A REAL GUITAR! Not a bad sounding squire, but still...

  • @JRHockney It's also a thing of the size of the guitar. Hard to find a Fender Strat that's a kids size.

  • @JRHockney he has a gibson es-335 but its a little big.

  • Quinn Sullivan and Jackie Evancho should start a band together. Jackie might need to change her style of music a bit, but wow what a show that would be.

  • tight. but maybe have an old dude sing it. jesus he cant pull off the blues with that voice. guitar A+. singing FAIL

  • i love your use of the cry baby what a great sound i have to watch this clip most days as i am a huge fan of BB king well Done Quinn great version great band

  • He is good but I have the feeling people always like a kid because their are young. Just becaused your young doesn't mean your more talented then when your older.

  • The kid is great no doubt, but I just can't buy him singing the blues. The other kid in Wisconsin T-Man has the feeling of blues. But still this kid makes me hate him with how good he is. LOL But seriously the kid just doesn't feel the blues.

  • why does he have squire?

  • @speedygamefreak haha i thought the same thing...he should have a strat!!

  • @soulfunksounds he does have an es 335 that Elen gave to him

  • @speedygamefreak the reason he has a Squier is cause Fender has'nt released a half sized Fender Stratocaster

  • Comment removed

  • hes reall not that good im sorry but hes not. DONT GET ME wrong, back then he was awesome. but at his age now... ive seen him and hes overrated

  • @Ajwmsaguitarman

    Jealous fucker.

  • @Ajwmsaguitarman

    Omg your an ass!

  • Wow!

  • you the best mannn^^ like it

  • there would be a much better sound if he plays on a real fender....squier sucks :(

  • @dervictor01 hey man, this video is proof that it's really not about your gear, it's about your actual skill. this is one of the damn best sounding squier strats i've ever heard. it's so hard to make them sound this good.

  • wow .... some talent..

  • I agree he should prob be playing something better then a Squire but hey that was prob one of the first ones he has and we all know that feeling right.

  • what happened to the gibson ellen gave him, he should not be playing a squier.......although ive never heard a squier sound so good :P

  • little Beatles

  • a new STAR is shining...nice !

  • why is he playing a squier? he deserves a fender strat for goodness sakes!

  • THIS KID IS JUST AMAZING!!!!

  • If Justin Beiber was this good, maybe everyone wouldn't hate him. Great Job Quinn. Keep it up =P

  • @ShadowMarionette shut the fuck up about beiber. no one cares about him

  • who can possibly not like this! this is amazing!

  • I heard some resemble to Ernie Isley . In that case rock sure can use this kid right about now.

  • i got to say he is good now and i can only wait and watch him as he fills our ears with his joyful muisc in the years to come, keep up the good work and i know you got me as a fan, 4-ever, got to love this kid

  • hahahah i went to elementary school with this kid! I wasnt friends with him because i was i few grades above him, but i remember him playing at the school talent shows. That was pretty boss. He was amazing.

  • He's freaking awesome!

  • wow...way to go kid...!! If he can play like this at 8 years, I wonder what he is going to do when he turns 18....the next BB King I say!!

  • Imagine his backup band, how they must feel!

  • why is his dad letting him play a squier??? hes good enough for a fender

  • @chrisgralnic the squier is smaller and he is a kid

  • the best ...

  • wowww this kids got some serious talent

  • He is the best

  • He Kinda Sounds like Little Micheal

  • Peace Quin.... good to see George Harrison made it back

  • @dfguitarblues

    xD good joke

  • @OropherThranduil hehe cool thanks im glad some one got it

  • @dfguitarblues

yeah, george playing with his ding-a-ling would have more feeling than that kid.

i mean normally he's okay, but this here gives pain to my ears.

  • Truly amazing!

  • he will be the new gary moore!

  • you know I really think he will be better when his voice changes....but anyway keep up with your effort it will pay off someday

  • I wanna buy that kid a nice Fender American Strat. He kicks ass!

  • People's exspectaions are always too high the kid is only 8 man comon get a grip folks.

  • awesome kid

  • he is an awesome guitar player for his age and not for his age no doubt about it.

but he ruined the hell out of this song with his high voice :S

  • Did someone notice that his voice sounds like Michael Jackson's voice when he was his age?!

  • the wah wah did fucked up the song a bit. stll, in 10 years, when he is adult, he will probably have the right feeling...

  • Someone buy you a strat :D

  • omg,, why he use wah-wah?

he play good. but i dont like the wah-wah he use....

  • This kid is realy talented but he needs to learn to hold back a bit. It will come with age/experience. Tends to play over other people when onstage together. But he still KILLS on guitar.

  • UNBELIEVABLE

  • I wish I could say he sucked... but he doesn't... urgh.

  • he is soo gd

  • hey handsome, you reminds me old beatles days..smooth playing.

  • I don't like his style of plaing because I think it's chaotic but.... HE IS BETTER THAN ME

  • maybe he is the next clapton..in the far future

  • @dermord00 i say a combination of clapton, page, and hendrix all put together. he's fucking great

  • @giventofly1789 No Jimi Hendrix here man, Jimi Hendrix was way more Jazzy than this dude. Maybe the Wah slighty relates to Jimi, but then again not.

Great job nonetheless, i enjoy everything except his voice :)

  • He was born to play, his got too much soul!!!

  • This kid rocks, rich or poor it doesn't matter....he puts in the time and he is dedicated, if you had a camera in your face you would be hamming it up just as much.

This kid isn't trying to be a star, he is a star...don't be jealous lol

  • beszarááás

  • this is the best.... This kid is truly a natural. Too bad they miss the passing chord in the turn around. not sure why so many miss that change. FYI: In the key of B minor the chords are GMaj7 - Gbsus4 - Gb7.

  • he's definitly good. really good! but he will never FEEL the Blues. now he's just too young, but i guess he just was born rich. he knows the techniques, but I think he's just doing it by watching the big ones like BB King and Buddy Guy. Maybe its like this: he's just too good for playing the blues.

  • if i ever have kids i want a son just like this little dude to jam with.

  • how come he's still using squire? hey Fender, give him some real guitar, the kid deserves it...

  • @poinkero I think he does hav another guitar, cause when he was on Ellen when he was 6 she gave him one, he probably just feels comfortable with this one.. =)

  • @moomoorat you're right, i've watched that vid here also...have you seen T-Man, he's a kid and a good guitar player also, but something about him annoys me...he seems like a jerk, hehehehe... but this kid (Quinn) is something, he's feel for the blues real..

  • @poinkero

dude, Tman is garbage. Quinn is phenomenal

  • @poinkero

T-man isn't a bad kid. We could all use some humility in our lives.

  • @B7aug5 it's what T-Man lacks...T-Man for his age is an excellent guitar player, but I can sense fake-ness all over him... screaming while directly standing in front of the mic, the way he talks, etc, he's annoying....

  • @poinkero I understand what you are saying. He is trying too hard to be a star. Kids like Tman and Quinn tend to be more "intellectual" about their playing. Feeling comes with time. That said, there is much more to playing guitar than knowing a position or two. In Tman's defense, he's just a kid and his acting skills need some tweaking. People like to hear and "see" music. It's not just about how good you are, its also about showmanship. I hope both of those kids "make it".

  • @poinkero the Gibson he was given by ellen is a bit big for him. Hes sticking with this one because he can play it and its not too big. Maybe in the future when hes older he will play the gibson. Also the gibson retails for ~$3500 so he might not want to play it because its expensive,

  • That's a dove, not a bud plant on his strap.

  • making a squire sound so good takes some incredible skill :)

  • @ trezhamayn

    nope, its a dove

  • watz he doin with a starcaster he should have a gibson les paul or somthin

  • This almost unreal. This kid has such a future. In 20 years he will be the God of guitar.

  • GENIUS!!!!

  • i love bb king, but this just isnt my favorite song

  • btw its not marijuana on the strap, its a dove, i think its a Neil Young reissue strap =p

  • <
