Also sayin' a whole coast was quiet because of one song is rediculous, simply because it wasn't aimed at a whole coast. 'Pac's beef back then was primarly focussed on Big and Bad Boy, but within half a year he started actin' paranoid and thought the whole world was against him. He was his own worst enemy. On another note, 'Cube was biggin' up the West a good year before 'Pac.

'Pac's comments about 'Cube are a joke, claimin' he jumped on the Westcoast bandwagon. 'Bow Down' was mostly aimed at the critics in NY, who didn't give westcoast artits the same respect as their east coast peers. Also 'Cube release 'West Up' and 'Westside Slaughterhouse' way before 'Hit Em Up', back when 'Pac was locked up.

Westcoast Rap/Hip Hop used to be so smooth back in the day, especially during the era of The Pharcyde, Souls Of Mischief/Hieroglyphics, Death Row, Snoop & The Dogg Pound, & DJ Quik, too many to name, the list goes on. @ 3:06 I thought that was Karrine "Superhead" Steffans. C'mon now 'Pac, don't act like 'Westside Slaughterhouse' and 'West Up' drop a year earlier! Besides 'Bow Down' is a totally different song than 'Hit 'Em Uo' . Technically you could even say that 'Pac followed Cube's blueprint with 'No Vaseline', which was lyrically a much better diss and released a good 5 years earlier.
