@Swadzang they are by no means skinny as you say. type in 100m sprinter in google. they are animals. also, the body fat to muscle ratio of a sprinter is much much lower than that of a football player. that means technically you were right about being skinny, as in lots of muscle with no fat in a sprinter. the science is there, football players need fat to absorb impact. sprinters have definitely more muscle. Football players need to be heavy with body fat to have massive momentum during impact.

Booo, NRL didnt even have there fastest players. Impressive effort by Hayne considering his weight and poor starting mechanics (popped up early, losing his power), if they raced for a month hed beat that lot easy.

Martin Offiah 10.6, Brett Mullins 10.7, Jovan Clarkes 10.4 does count because he couldnt play, the same way John Grant doesnt count, who the hell are you? No amatuers please, you play less games at less intensity, putting you at an advantage for a race like this.

Leeds Rhinos winger Jamal Chisolm recently won the Engage Superleague fastest man race, sprinting 100 meters across "grass" winning in a time of 11.10 seconds. Now i know Uate / Jennings / Gordon are speed freaks but there times are unknown? so technically this makes Chisolm the fastest man in Rugby League.

Also Chisolm has posted a best time of 10.88 on the track running for Athletic Club Skyrac in England.
