actually the fact that you have dreads could help you more if you are serious about making a comment, I've never had them but I imagine it'd be painful to brush those out(i that's even possible?) anyway it'd make quite the statement...I don't know, but the pretend to brush your hair doesn't work too well, you're just doing what she did less well.

I appreciate the gesture you simulated but you missed the essence of Marina's performance. The repetition of not only the brushing, but the repetition of the phrase along with the endurance of the violence of brushing ones hair.

The piece is frantic, its about the artist as exemplary sufferer.
