  • goddamit will you people SHUT THE FUCK UP AND WATCH THE VIDEO

  • Guys its a porsche, not a portch

  • I have a Boxster S (I'm in the UK) , if someone calls it a porsh-ah.. i'd probably think they were a moron immitating a yank, unless they were from the US... then it's ok, that's how you guys say it.. and the guy in the video is wrong.. they are not 'the stuff dreams are made of' their very low depreciation makes them very low cost if you finance...

  • @baughanie Uh, people in the US pronounce it 'porsh'. 'Porsh-uh' is closer to the original German pronunciation though.

  • @5visforvictory5 ah lets stop arguing about pronunciation, yes you're right that's how Ze germans say it... the car's an absolute beauty...I sold my S in May when it hit 100,000 miles at 5 years old, had a Cayman for a couple of months, again, stunning car. for dull reasons I have a 3 series bmw now... and as wonderful as it is I miss my Boxster every day.. roll on next summer when I'm buying another on..., with it's 32mpg and 17,000 miles on a set of tyres is a supercool daily drive.

  • Stay in schooL kidsl!!! Thats is right!! I'm an new engineer (23-yr), but this is a dream (a wet one) even a decade from now. The big boy 911 is unrealistic. I make more money than any 4-yr degree [6.36k/month (CA money)] and cant even drive the base boxter in any state. Insurance sucks. NO kids included!!!!

  • I say "POR-SHH" without adding the gayass "UH" on the end.

  • @aftereffects Porsche is a German company, and the German pronunciation has the "ah" at the end. The whole world says "porsh-ah" except for uneducated Americans.

  • @marshknute Its because anyone who isn't German will not have a German accent. So its Porshh, not Porsha for us. We say Owdi rather than Awdi (for Audi) as well. Its just accent.

  • @aftereffects It isn't limited to Germans. America is the only country in the world that widely uses the pronunciation porsh (I'm american by the way). All of Europe and Australia adds the "ah." The only reason I dislike the american pronunciation is because they are saying the company wrong. We pronounce Nintendo correctly, so why don't we say Porsche correctly? BTW, Audi is pronounced Ow-dee like you specified.

  • @marshknute Wrong. In Australia we don't add the "uh" at all. Makes you sound like a massive homo.

  • @Studgun91 Think what you want, but you are saying it wrong. Saying "Porsh-ah" makes you sound educated about cars, while saying "Porsh" makes you sound like an idiot who knows nothing about cars.

  • @marshknute No, saying it without the "uh" makes you look like you're saying it as it looks, rather than trying to imitate how it's said with a German accent. It's the same as me saying "Volks-wagon" not "Volks-vahgen", or "Humm-ah" not "Humm-er" because I'm not trying to imitate an American accent. Not pronouncing a brand name in it's native accent does not make me uneducated about cars; doing so would often just serve to make me look like a pretentious twat. /rant

  • GAWD it's "pore-shh-uh" cmon!!

  • you say potato, i say pa-tahto..........Im not german either :)

  • Porches are on houses. Porsches are on the road. Please pronounce the name correctly: Porsh-uh.
