"Beautiful song. Interesting end when Chris was with Trevor. Once in an interview with Trevor said: "I love Chris like a brother, and if someone wants to hurt Chris - will have to deal with me."
& Trevor is so gifted not only as a brilliant songwriter & composer, but he knows how to also take Jon's songs, or Chris's songs, etc..and make them shine in their best line via his artistry, as an orchestrator & arranger, and just making a song..transcendent. Talk, Big Generator, 90125, Union..4 jewels that sparkle brighter every day for me and always make my heart sing and soar..as does ALL of Trevor's solo albums, film scoring..
@stevezane,richardtrichmond,& especially vaportrails44, I agree 1 million percent! Trevor is the best and most wonderful thing that EVER happened to Yes...their most profound songwriter..most significantly..which is why nearly every member of Yes approached him to help them, not just wit Yes, but with their solo projects, Rick, Jon, Chris, even..OMG! Steve H...and for me the 2nd greatest guitarist to Clapton, an exquisite divine singer, plays every instrument, Producer, Arranger, orchestrator
Of all of Trevors music, this is something that they should have tried again...
97, 98' 99....with BILLY SHERWOOD in the band.... Billy would have done a great job with ENDLESS DREAM, and other TALK music.....but............ sadly... NO....!!!!
Wow, Would that be awesome to see Jon, Trevor and Rick, perhaps bring in Tony Levin and maybe even Bill Bruford, now you have a band to do an awesome evening of Yes with about everything that they can perform sans Relayer and Drama....2 other excellent records. Yes right now is more like a cover band, didn't see the tour with Benoit David....but it just isn't Yes without Jon.
@RICHARDTRICHMOND I hope more than anything for this to happen...Trevor was the best thing that happened to Yes for my taste. The Talk album is my favorite from Yes.
@stevezane SOME YES FANS DO NOT EVEN ........... WELL TREVOR SAVED YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE TREVORS MUSIC!!!!! AT BOTH "YES" TOURS... STEVE IS GOOD... BUT TREVOR IS GREAT... WOULD LOVE TO SEE TREVOR ON STAGE AGAIN PERIOD!!! LIKE YOU, I THINK TREVOR SAVED YES!!!! THE RIGHT YES LINE-UP. FOR THE TIMES................ JON, RICK, TREVOR, BILLY .....AND A DRUMMER..... BILL MAYBE....HE HAS SAID NO...MAYBE LOU... HE HAS TIES TO BOTH TREVOR AND BILLY... JON AND TREVOR AND RICK...GO!!!
Wow, Would that be awesome to see Jon, Trevor and Rick, perhaps bring in Tony Levin and maybe even Bill Bruford, now you have a band to do an awesome evening of Yes with about everything that they can perform sans Relayer and Drama....2 other excellent records. Is not time (yet) for one of the Yes' reserves to sit Jon.
Line up of YES for the next decade: Benoit (vocals), Oliver (keyboards), Billy (he also plays bass), Trevor (guitar). On drums? Best drummer graduate from Jon's "school of Yes"
I was at Madison Square Garden for the last show of the tour. Yes were so much of a life force at this time for me at my age and situation. I was moved in life and still hold on to Love. Nothing is more important ' ' )
In Santiago Chile, Wow ¡ I never knew Sherwood was a member on this Tour. He and Trevor are wonderful musicians. Will they come back to Yes again ?? Thank you Mellostar22.
The best song on Talk, just supreme...Jon's angelic voice, Trevor's majestic, regal guitar understated and sublime, Chris's delicate thunder, just divine. What an exquisite song.
Trevor and Jon wrote this song on the beach in San Clemente CA-- using a boombox to record the rough draft on. Such a magical piece of music--I've had 2 girlfriends that this was "our song" LOL
The song has Everything YES has been striving for from the beginning. Great arrangement, Great harmonies, wailing guitars, Celestial voice, Dreamy lyrics and a sense of Universal Love with a strong Rhythm section. LONG LIVE YES!
The best song of the Rabin era. Jon is the angel of singing. And the sound of the guitar is so nice in this song. But all in all this was the worst era of the YES.
I really like this- it emulates the studio version well, and adds a touch of the best elements of a live performance. I wish I'd taken the opportunity to see these guys when I could- the "In The Round" tour of '79-ish.
Is it just me, or did Trevor, throughout this song, show a complete disregard to the sensibilities of the intent of the piece by playing country/blues licks and various double stops all over the place? Had I been playing this tour I would have given it all its due as it was remembered and loved by the audience. I know he's the original player on this tune, but I guess "touring boredom" must have set in.
you are right... the arrangements for this live version throws away the original feeling from the one from the studio album... the whole interpretation seems to be disconnected
I AM WATING FOR THIS LINE UP ( With Steve and Wakeman) TO COME BACK. ¡ ..I believe the haired guy is Billy Sherwood. Great song and great band. --Desearía que ésta alineación regresara.....hummmm..
This is ONE of Trevor Rabin's best works of art. Thankyou Trevor for your beautiful contrbution to YES. You all will live for eternity through your perpetually positive creations of LOVE

THE LAST NEWS...
JON SAID IN A RADIO INTERVIEW IN AUG. THAT THE HE AND TREVOR HAVE SPOKEN ABOUT SHOWS IN 2011.
THE THINK THAT MAKES ME THINK THAT THIS WILL HAPPEN NEXT YEAR,
TREVOR REALLY WANTS TO DO SOMETHING ELSE AND TOUR.
RICK IS VERY UPSET WITH STEVE AND CHRIS, AND WANTS A "YES" OUT THERE TO DO A FEW REALLY BIG SHOWS, AND SO DOES JON.
JON SAID THAT WHILE HE WAS SICK, RICK AND TREVOR SPOKE EVERY WEEK AND REALLY BONDED OVER THE LAST 2 YRS.
LETS HOPE.
I MISS 1994 AND TALK.
