I only had genesis before i got the boxset for my birthday. its so awesome. Genesis of the Daleks is the best story in it but really the highlight was I, Davros which is basically a prequel to Genesis of the Daleks and chronicles Davros' childhood all the way up to a few weeks befroe genesis of the Daleks. its so awesome

@LordOfTime1000 I agree with you altho it does also have 7 audio plays with Davros (played by Terry malloy in all of them), all but 1 of which you can get seperatly and an exclusive documentary

@2vidman Why bother releasing whole new DVD box-set when you can just go to the shops and buy Journey's End seperate?...It's all down to cost and to release an upgraded version would mean losing sales on the previous versions and would cost more to manufacture.

@angelbecki27 he is mainly Hitler but also partially Doctor Mengle, . i suppose nowdays you could even read Doctor Strangelove or even Stephen Hawkings into him too (not that Hawkings is a Nazi). whats fascinating is that the Daleks are nazis, but ones created from nuclear conflict, ie Cold War conflict and the Kaled/Thal war is as much about the Cold War as the first world war. its genius

@outofthegreenmist there was a great article i read (it might've been within this boxset actually) that said Davros sorta created the Daleks in his image but made them idyllic versions of himself. the lower body is identical. theelectronic eye is similar as is all other ways they sense. but the upper body is big and strong unlike his and their left arm, unlike his lame and useless one, is their deadliest weapon

Davros is a fantastic role model for children who want to get ahead in life with qualities such as, science, ambition, power. Even though Davros was physically challenged and bound to his chair he never gave up on his dream. The universe can be yours too.

The Dalek-Human hybrid was shit. It had a scrotum head for fuck's sake. I hate how nowadays the daleks are emotional and also how the doctor wants to help them! Its RTD's fault for fucking up the franchise. He's probably gonna fuck Davros up too like he did with the Master, u'd never catch Delgado or Ainly dancing to scissor sisters as he destroyed the world. Simm wasnt masterly enough and Davros im afraid to say will probably be just as poorly portrayed.

Even thou i know own all five televised Davros storys seperately on DVD , i was hoping that Two Entertain would concider having the Davros Connections documentary on the Destiny of the Daleks DVD , but as it turns out it isint , i so want to see that documentary , i hope that Big Finish will also concider bringing the Davros Mission audio as a seperate release and not just for the new boxset .
