  • The old one was better and when new owners took it over, they screwed a faithful bartender out of his retirement. Michael had kept us local alkies there faithful for years, yeah we got half a free drink out of the shaker. It was shameful, the place was ruined, and we all quit going. I used to love the piano bar. It was such a romantic place, never known for fine food, just guzzling booze.

  • wow she sounds so welcoming and inviting .. at least the food looks good

  • those black strips underneath the bowls on the plates are extretely ugly, try using a piece of parsely, cilantro, or any herb that goes with the dish to hold the bowls down instead, i guarenteee your plates will stay in the same place and also look much more beautiful. try it once at least..

  • @koehler65 The "black strips" are banana leaves, which are green, not black. Also, putting something like a fresh herb underneath a bowl of food is completely ridiculous.

  • the interior is awful.

  • الله اكبر

  • looks disgusting

  • My great-great Uncle Jack Arnold was the lounge pianist at the Monkey Bar for many years - in the 1950s, mostly. Perhaps earlier. I have always wondered about the place. I guess they gutted it...

  • is she saying

"at the bar having a cock tail?" listen to her accent saying it with an open mouth, and the atmosfere looks very boring by the way! yeah, burn that place!

  • but it re-close in 2008

  • Love the bar, have not tried the restaurant yet. Great martinis.

  • Looks great.
